Best Time in Late December for 4 Day Trip

Hi everyone -

I am planning a 4 day trip to WDW. Should I go 4 days sometime prior to Christmas (which days?) or 4 days post Christmas (which days?)? When are Chrismas decorations removed in the parks? Thanks!

It's much better to go before Christmas if you don't want as large crowds. All four parks are much more crowded after Christmas and before New Year's.

We always go the week before Christmas. You get all the benefits of WDW at Christmas (decorations, parades, etc.) but none of the crowds.

The period between Christmas and New Year is supposed to be the busiest time at WDW. I would suggest avoiding it and going before (as already mentioned)

I have never been to WDW the week before Christmas but I have been the week after and through New Year's and the crowds are atrocious.

In all honesty, you need to go the week before Christmas (the weekdays). They usually have longer hours and less crowds than Christmas Week. Plus, all of the great holiday decorations are up.
