Im hoping to start planning another trip for about a year from now and Im thinking of a 2 week stay this time around. What month/s are the coolest at WDW?

March thru April are nice months to go to the World, but it's Spring break for alot of kids and it's somewhat crowed. I like late October, early November. On my last trip we stayed October 28-November 11, some nights we ran the air conditioner, some nights we ran the heater. The days were cool and it would warm up nicely. Early December is the same way, cool mornings, somewhat warm during the day then cooling down for the night. Sometimes a cold front comes through and it gets chilly for a few days but overall its warm, not steaming hot. Check the weather chanel webpage for Orlando temp. averages, some disney pages have this info also. Have a great stay.

Weather, of course, can be unpredictable but in general any month that has an 'R' in its name should be OK.
Same as the rule for when to eat oysters and crawfish.

Good luck,
:)

October-March are perfect times to go to Disney. The very best time is first week or so in December. It is right before all of the kids get time off from school and its kind of quiet. Plus its winter time in Florida, so the temperatures will only be in the 70s haha

January and February can at times be quite cold - especially at night. The lows can sometimes dip way into the 40s. My favorite months are November and December, when it's much cooler out, but you can still wear a t-shirt and shorts even at night. Plus the crowd level isn't as insane if you go early in the month (before the Thanksgiving and Christmas guests begin to flock in). And if you go in early December, you get to see all of the gorgeous holiday decorations.

beware September & early October

While RiversideBunny's comment about "R" months is generally true, I have found that it can still be really, really hot in September (average highs well over 90, with high humidity), and even in early October. Follow-up on ThinkTink's suggestion, and check the seasonal averages at wunderground.

Figment is correct that it can be quite cold in January & February, but you have the advantage of relatively low attendance, and with a few exceptions (i.e. Cali River, Splash) the cold should not have much of an adverse impact on your visit.
