best table service restaurant to pair with fireworks viewing?

We're doing our first disney vacation with 2 boys (4 and 1) the first week in March. I saw that fireworks are nightly at 8pm. If we do a sit down dinner before (maybe at 6:30), which restaurant is close so that we can go out to view the fireworks right after dinner? Also, is there a main street area where you see fireworks that you don't have to use your tickets to get into? For instance, I'm thinking of doing this the night we arrive so I don't want to use a day of our 4 day pass just to see fireworks.

I have Park 1900 Cinderella dinner booked, but I'd change it if there's something else more convenient. It doesn't have to be a character dinner as we're doing several other of those. I was thinking either Ohana or Liberty Tavern, but I'm not sure if we need a park ticket to eat at Liberty Tavern.

Thanks from a newbie!

You can't eat at any in-park restaurants without a park ticket, so Liberty Tree and anything on Main Street are out. Anything at one of the monorail resorts would be a great choice. Your best bet would probably be either 'Ohana or Kona Cafe at the Polynesian, then watching the fireworks from the beach outside.

Best view is easily California grill, but two TS, you can see main street, castle, tomorrowland, and so on. Best bang for the buck and views, Ohanas, then go to the beach and watch the fireworks.

Since you have two small boys, I would either keep your 1900 Park Fare or try 'Ohana or Kona Cafe at the Poly. If you keep Park Fare, you can watch the fireworks from the boat dock at the Grand Floridian. If you eat at 'Ohana (make sure your ADR is no later than 6:30 p.m. if fireworks are at 8 p.m.) or Kona you can watch from the Poly Beach.
