Best table service at MK

When Sue and I were there last month they were not taking reservations. I am not sure if they do now. We arrived at the podium and got seated after about a five minute wait. By the time we were finished eating, the restaurant was full and people were waiting. We usually try to eat about 4 to 5:00pm. With just one dinner there, it has become our favorite restaurant in the Magic Kingdom. We used to eat at Pecos Bills but that has been dropped from our list. The burgers at Pecos Bills now are $13.99. You no longer get fries (you get chips instead) nor the nice fixins bar with the cooked onions and mushrooms etc.
It's sad what they had to do at Pecos Bills. I miss the fixins bar.:(

The fixin's bar is still there, for toppings for fajitas and the other new menu items. There is cheese, salsa, guacamole and a roasted corn mix.
True but way different from the hot cooked onions and mushrooms, tomatoes, pickles, maybe cheese, and etc. that used to be at the fixins bar. Something else that was missing was the long lines of people at the podiums waiting to order food. Noticed that during our trip that spanned November till March. I don't think people have been overjoyed with the new Southwest burger and Tortilla chips. Also could not figure out why these burgers were $4.00 more than all the other counter service places in the parks. On a positive note, it would be no problem at all to find an empty table to sit at as very few tables were occupied when ever we walked by.

Yes
The new dinner menu is : Roasted Turkey Breast, Pot Roast, and Sliced Tavern Ham with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, and Herb Stuffing

The desert is also different. I was very disappointed compared to the old menu.

Supper is very disappointing now. We ate there the week of the post renovations opening during a MNSSHP for a good parade viewing location and it wasn't very good. Its a lunch only proposition to us now until the menu changes. I'm still enamored of the Colony Salad with chicken (one of the better not so bad for you choices on property) and my DW loved the pressure cooked pot roast.

I was very unhappy with the service at Cinderella's on my February trip. The server was nowhere nearly as attentive as I expect from a Disney sit-down meal, particularly when we needed to wait 15 minutes for the final check. I understand that the restaurant is popular, but there is no reason to wait 10 minutes for a water refill...

I have always had a great lunch at the Plaza (all 3 times). Going back this June. It was a toss up between the Plaza and Liberty and the Plaza lunch menu won out for me and my family. Less entrée-type offerings...more sandwich. That is fine for lunch for me, although I would have liked to try the Liberty to check out the theming.
