Best surprises at Disney

Oh and just an afterthought to do with my reply...When we went to the jewelers to get the engraving on our rings, we just wanted our initials m&k and the date. The jeweler didn't have a & so we could've spelled ou the word and or put a dash in there. m-k 6-29-02 ended up being what we had engraved. When we picked them up, my husband said how ironic, it's not only our initials engraved on our rings, but also where we got engaged...Magic Kingdom. I just thought that was kind of cool and worth mentioning. Maybe i'm just corny & too sentimental! :lol:

ok i posted this story once before but i gotta dust it off again. not romantic but i guess it was a little sweet of me. here it goes.
My girlfriend had never been to disney world and i saved up and was able to take her. now ever since she was little she wanted to go on the haunted mansion because she saw all those ABC sitcoms when the family goes to disney they always go on that ride. So my master plan was to take her directly on that ride, well we made it to florida checked in, and went to MK. well of course she was pointing at everything as we walked to the ride and right up to the main gate. well the last thing we saw before we got in the line was tom sawyer island, she asked what it was and as i looked over i felt like a truck hit my knee. There was a small dark fire hydrant. i could barely stand and my girlfriend said i should have it looked at but i really couldent stand to ruin her first trip to disney cause i was clumsey. well we went on the ride and my knee was swollen like a soft ball with a golf ball lump on it and it hurt. we did so much walking that week i thought i was gonna die but it was totally worth it to share her first disney expierience with her.
