All the resturants at Disney are extremely good and it is very hard to recall the best. However there are two that stand out in my mind. First, the California Grill on top of the Comtemp. The food is outstanding and the view from up there of the MK is unbelievable. I was lucky enough to be up there during the electromagic parade and firework show and it was so beautiful to see the lights move down the path of the parade and the lights go out in different sections of the park. Then the fire works after over the castle was breathtaking. Second is Boma at AKL. This is the best "all you care to eat" resturant. The atmosphere and the setting of the lodge sets up an excellent time. Also the variety of food and different tastes always give you something new. In addition, the desserts are extremely good.

Yep, that is one of the most magical things I have seen being up there in CG when the parade and fireworks happen. They pump in the sound/music for both the parade and fireworks and the fireworks explode at eye level.

I do think you need to see the parade/fireworks inside the MK first to get an appreciation, but when you know what's going on where, etc and can see it from a birds eye view that was really cool.

I still don't see how anyone could eat a full course meal there, I had the main course and thought I was going to burst. We went there for my Mom's birthday and they gave her some chocolate bar/cake/more chocolate dessert that looked so good I'm sure I was pulling a Pavlov's dog off to the side... :D

Hmm, I would have to say that Jiko's at the AKL, and Wolfgang Puck's restaraunt (the sit down side) at DTD are amazing! Probably one of the best meals I've ever had at those two places. I'd recommend anyone to go there :D

16 days!!!! :D:D:D

My personal favorite meal on Disney property is the Pot Roast with a side order of onion rings over at the 50's Prime Time Cafe in MGM.

I would also highly recommend Alfredo's at the Italy Pavilion, Le Cellier in Canada (At lunch they have the best cheeseburgers I have ever had), and San Angel Inn at Mexico (The chips and salsa are the best part of the meal).

My favorite fast food places are Flame Tree BBQ, Tusker House, Backlot Express, and Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe.

When I head down to Disney, I always have sit down dinners. By far the best, but it is more of an event than anything else, is Victoria and Alberts in the Grand Floridian. If you are not going with kids, and you want to have a nice quiet romantic dinner and TAKE YOUR TIME having it. This is the place for you. They either have one or 2 sittings a night, I think one at 5 and the other at 8:30 and it is a five couse meal, the menu being completely market driven (whatever comes in THAT day) and being very short on selection (1 - 3 items per course). But it is truly ecquisitely prepared. With the wine paring its $135 per person, pricy but so worth it. And you never forget it, in fact you get your own personalized menu and ladies receive a rose.

Regular sit down resturants, I have a toss up between Artists Point (WL) or the California Grill. Both are excellent with Artist Point having Northwest American cuisine (try the bison steak with the sweet potato gratin, mmmmm) and wines, and the Cali Grill with Pacfic Rim cuisine.

There is no doubt in my mind, that the best sit down restaraunt ( sp ) in Diney is Cinderella's Royal Table. I know it might sound...kiddish...but it's truly Disney magic. You get to dine on excellent food in Cinderella Castle, not to metion, a great view for fireworks if you have a window seat at the right time.

I have to agree with some of the others and go with the California Grill as the best. The atmosphere, the view of the MK, the service and most importantly the food are all great.

My favorite dinner ones would have to be Le Cellier and Marrakesh. And for breaksfast my favorite has always been Cinderella's Royal Table. Other than those none of the sit-down resturants have really been spectacular, just normal. My family does eat out a whole lot though, so I have lots of different dining experiences.

Because we have kids, we don't go to the finer restaurants that often. But these are the must-dos on every trip: Le Cellier, Liberty Tree Tavern and the Plaza.

Le Cellier is a great escape. It's quiet and cool and the food is great. Every once in a while, I read a knock on the quality of the food. Just ignore them, those people are crazy. We never miss this one and the food is always excellent. Maybe a little pricey for the portion size, but not outrageous.

Liberty Tree is just plain awesome. I have never had anything but great food. It's not gourmet. But it is very good.

The Plaza rocks for burger and shakes.

Only "sit down" restaurants I've been to at WDW are the Crystal Palace and Rainforest Cafe & Planet Hollywood at Downtown Disney. Never had a bad meal at any, but the food at Planet Hollywood is kind of mediocre overall.

I might be going to Epcot for my birthday in August, so I'm going to finally try some of the things I have always passed up in World Showcase.

Sit down

Sit down restaurants....We don't eat at many of them. I cook alot in the room or we run outside property for Sweet Tomatoes. We never miss the Meal's Plus at Tusker House in DAK though. (If that even counts) I love their food and the Meal's Plus is a great thing for us. We never miss Trail's End Buffeteria at Fort Wilderness. I also like to hit Planet Hollywood or Rainforest Cafe in Downtown Disney.
