My favorite is the classic version of the Golden Mickeys. I like most of the changes that they've made to it (adding the Rapunzel and "Princess and the Frog" segments); but I really loved having Roy Disney and Angela Lansbury in the show as well as the "Shoo-be-doo" song/dance number.

I also just love to see the kids as they walk across the stage (wearing beards) with Snow White. Classic moment.

I forgot to mention this when I got back from the Alaska cruise, but we saw a "first" for us during that showing of Golden Mickeys. The lift refused to rise up to stage level!! For the Cruella DeVil segment, the cast is supposed to rise to the stage with Cruella's car. But it wouldn't!! So they stopped the show for probably 10 or 12 minutes. They finally got it to come up, and then the cast members entered from the side stage door instead of using the lift. It was really an interesting situation!

Anyway, just to prove how much I love this show, here's me with Ensign Benson. (I've posted this before, so I apologize if you've seen it before.)

That is so funny, Chuck! I've never seen a big malfunction!

This is a hard question! I love the Golden Mickeys, and I loved Dreams although I've seen it so many times now.

I think right now I would give the edge to Believe because it was new and wonderful.:)

I have to go with Villans Tonight, just because I like Hades. Some of the one liners he throws out are classic.

All shows are excellent though.

Hey Tammy what do you consider the best non-disney shows you have seen onboard???

Do you mean comedians and what not? I have enjoyed just about every comedian, ventriloquist, and juggler we have seen. Some are better than others, but all have been entertaining.

The only show we really did not enjoy was the hypnotist. It just felt like a snake oil salesman to us.

The magician we saw was great, some stuff was obvious but his last few tricks were GREAT :sohappy:

I remember that one! On the Med cruise! It was excellent.

Spot on my GF skipped that one but our group at our table had gotten on so well myself and the only other guy took all the kids, it was enjoyed by all!!

Some great singing :sohappy:

And actually one i really enjoyed was 5 of the stars of many DCL shows sang songs from classic disney movies! Great showing :D

I think this is the one you're thinking of, and I liked it a lot, too:

The show in the Walt Disney Theater was a new show created just for the European itineraries, called “Once Upon a Song”. This show had no “story”. It was just five singers (3 men, 2 women) who sang Disney songs and medlies, with virtually no staging.

Oh magicians too! Yes, we have enjoyed them as well!
Anybody remember "Morty the Magician"? That was a great magic show, we saw it on our first 7-day cruise. Molly and I went to it together and she loved it. (Gotta love those moments with a 7-year-old who still wants to hang out with you! :D )

I don't! But I can't remember most of their names, so I may have seen it! I do remember the hypnotist that we didn't like! Go figure!
