Youve heard.......hmmm has anyone been? what are the prices?

I've been. It was a special occasion and I was the Host. It was OK. I paid the bill. I will never go back. :lookaroun

To elaborate a bit.....I felt it was simply average food that was VERY overpriced!! In dining guides it would come under the $$$$ (out of 4) price category.

In all seriousness, their "famous" lobster bisque and clam chowders were $6-7 each PER BOWL! I've had much better chowder from the Ladies Auxiliary at our local firehouse! We also felt that the seafood was merely on par with Red Lobster, but at 3x the price. Service was attentive and excellent, but the "VALUE" of the meal was disappointing. You are looking at $150/couple with drink and tip.

TIGSMOM mentions a place I will definitely try for the first time on my next visit. Cape May is a seafod buffet with great reviews and you will certainly get a good "value" as it is all-you-can-eat.

GOOD LUCK!

Have to say I love seafood and this was VERY good.

The seafood of the day was Grilled Salmon :slurp:

Had fried oysters for the first time...very tender.
The soups were sooo good they had to keep refilling the pots every few minutes.

Also had some very good chicken and the beef was sliced to order...had mine rare, tender & juicy.

(now I'm starving & I have a cold so I can't taste anything. :( )

This is definately on my list for July's visit. :sohappy:
