Best room/package deals?

We have never used any of the codes or discounts when booking our WDW trips as our AAA travel agent handles all that for her. This year, we are not going to WDW but going on a cruise instead, and the closer the summer months come. the more I regret not going to Disney.

So now, I'm looking at maybe a trip end of July/early August, but to make it work, I'll need to get the best deal I can. The room will not be an issue as we always stay at Sports since we spend all day at the parks. We've got enough sky miles for free flights for the three of us. I know the pay for 4 get 7 nights deal has been extended, but to those of you who use codes and other ways to get the best deals, exactly how does that work? Where do you get the codes and do you use those on an online source to get some quotes for your trips?

Any advice and recomendations will be appreciated. I've got a Disney itch that needs to be scratched!

The "Buy 4, Get 3" deal can be booked directly on the WDW website. (Just look for the box on the main page labeled "Buy 4 Get 3")

If you want to try out some other discounts, keep an eye on www.mousesavers.com. They publish all of the currently available discounts.

Or, contact one of the people at Kingdom Konsultants or your local travel agent. They can crunch the numbers for you and find what will work best in your situation.

Your AAA travel agent can get you the Buy 4 Get 3 Free offer. AAA will usually also monitor your reservation and will let you know if any additional offers come up. For instance, if you book a rez and suddenly a free dining offer appears for the dates you are traveling, they can adjust your rez. But be sure to keep on top of any offers and feel free to call THEM with any "codes" you read about here to see if you are eligible for them. If you should receive those individual codes that come in either email or your mail, call AAA about those too.
