We have ADR's for BOG next month and I want to know where the best room to dine in is. As in- best atmosphere, theming, and overall the best place to be in. I'd like to know so we can request that room to be seated in :)

There is not a bad room in the place. The West Wing is the most popular, but if you are in there you will have to deal with other diners coming in to take pictures, look around, etc. Most are respectful of others, but it only takes one whose picture of the rose is more important than your dinner to ruin your night. You can request a specific room, but that request is pretty hit or miss. The place is so busy that they really do have to put you at the first available table to keep even remotely on schedule.

At this point i think I'll be happy with a short wait clean table and good food can't wait til June

We had lunch in the West Wing, I have 2 boys so they really liked that room best as it was darker and a little ominous. The other rooms are more "girly" in their minds. I liked seeing the rose dropping a petal and the atmosphere. We did peek in the other rooms on the way out and next time I would try the rose gallery, it looked very romantic and had a lot of artwork to look at. There are people who came in to look around but it didn't really bother us and we did the same thing on the way out. Enjoy!

Based on our dining experience there...while the West Wing is the neatest of the rooms, it's also the last room I'd ask to eat in. Why? Because it's the smallest room and everyone dining at BoG at the time will be in and out to check it out...which is encouraged. While the ballroom is huge and doesn't feel like it would be a peaceful place, it seemed a lot more relaxing than the West Wing...just due to that constant stream of guests bumping around in there to see the rose, the portrait, etc.

*Also, I don't know if it's changed, but when we dined- room requests were not being taken or honored. i.e. you get what you get. Not sure if any of that has changed though as this was a month ago.

We were able to eat dinner this past Saturday AND Sunday!! I would say first available is your best bet. And the strip steak is hit or miss! 1st night it was great, 2nd night too much fat and gristle, had to change to the Cornish hen.

And from my understanding that is the room that is making the ADR's go off schedule. Instead of 45-60 minute dining experience guests linger, sometimes twice as long just to make sure they are not missing anything.
Also the room is dark and difficult for some guests to see (issue with some older guests) and the CM's are now carrying flashlights cause they tripping on the guest belonging on the floor. They need running lights like down the isle of an airplane. lol.
