I'm really not a great fan of coasters and thrill rides, but I feel I can't go all the way to WDW without trying at least one! What is the best, most thrilling Disney experience?

The ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter is probably the most thrilling non-roller coaster at Disney. Its a scencory thriller. The special effects are staggeringly realistic. Its awesome. I highly reccomend it.

The monorail from EPCOT to the TTC!!! Two loops and a corkscrew!! It's even better the other way when you go through them backwards!!!:lookaroun :animwink:

Sorry, couldn't resist.

Definately RnRC.:sohappy:

I agree that RRC and TOT are the two best rides at Disney, but if I had to choose just one to go on it would be Tower without a doubt. The entire experience of Tower is awesome, not just the ride itself.

My favorite time to ride TOT is first thing in the morning, not just because the lines are shorter, but the cooler temperature seems to add to the atmosphere of the ride. And the special effects, from the lightning, to the surprises while on the ride are unlike other Disney rides.

As fun as RRC is, to me it is a higher, faster, louder version of Space Mountain. TOT has nothing to compare on Disney property.

Tower of Terror all the way.

Space Mtn has a "classic thrill" feeling to it, tho it isnt nearly as scary as ToT, it is very thrilling nonetheless. And Big Thunder is a fun type of thrill.

well, if you're not accustomed to roller coasters, i'd go with a milder one first...like Space Mountain or Big Thunder. those are great to start out with (even though i've ridden both several times, i still getting off shaking a bit after my first go around) RnRc is awesome, but i'm afraid it may be a bit too intense for someone who doesn't ride coasters much. which i don't ride them much either, and i can handle it, so i'm sure you could too! and Test Track is definately one of my faves! personally, ToT was a tad too much...dropping 13 stories straight down multipule times just isn't my thing. and blackride's right...Star Tours is pretty exciting as well!
just go do as many as you can! you only live once, right?

Depending on how Mission Space turns out to be, Disney has five of the best themed rides on the planet.

The first one they came out with was Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. This coaster is mild, but totally themed from start to finish. Very few ugly supports here.

The second one they built was Splash Mountain. Again, a great ride and story hidden in the mountain. The only problem with this ride is the way some of the logs stink from mildew.

The next ride they developed was The Tower of Terror. Right now, this is the best themed ride with the cooooooolest ride system. It totally immerses you in the theming.

Next they opened Indiana Jones/Countdown to Extinction/Dinosaur. Here is another great new ride system and storyline to take you away from reality. My kids (5 and 7) love it.

Finally, they created the Rock N Roller Coaster which may have been a purchased ride from another vendor, but the theming for a fast rollercoaster is second to none. This one makes you want to ride over and over again.

:D Hi there, go on all the rides. I am a grandmother and my husband and I do ALL WDW rides. Look at where the ride ends, look at the people. Do you see any ambulance, EMT or doctors? NO? Then no one got hurt. Everyone is smiling.

I love WDW, we go at least 3 times a year, but lets face facts. It costs a bundle. Why spend all that money and not do everything that you have time for?

My two favorite rides in the whole of WDW are Rockin' Rollercoaster, and Tower of Terror... but I would agree with the others here, try TOT, because it's not a roller coaster, and it's really not just about the ride, it's about the experience... gotta try it... you'll be hooked! :sohappy:

Tower of Terror definatly. The theming is spectacular and the ride is very thrilling and very fun. If you only do one, I would do that one. It's one of the best (if not the best) theme park attractions in the world (IMO). Also, I think that Big Thunder and DINOSAUR are also very good. Not too thrilling, but just enough, as well as a lot of fun.

Rock'n'Rollercoaster all the way! I would do everything, though.
Start out with Big thunder mountain railroad first.. then space mountain. After that ToT at MGM Then Rock'n'rollercoaster as it is probably the most intense ride at disney.
