Best Places Outside the World

What are some of your favorites restaurants off of the property. I know many of you somehow manage to stay at WDW for the entire trip, but for those that venture back into the normal world what are the best places for families, a nicer dinner, a good breakfast, etc. It doesn't seem like there is a lot of info available concerning restaurants outside WDW and Universal, and I know that my family eats almost exclusively off property because we stay in a vacation home. We never know where to eat, and I'm sure others have the same problem. Thanks for all your help!

Really close to property is a restaurant called Bahama Breeze that my family loves. It has a family friendly environment, but some entrees can get a little pricey. There is also a great seafood place, I believe it is called Pebbles, that we went to a few years ago which was very nice.

I enjoy Roy's. It's a Hawaiian-themed, "Asian Fusion" restaurant. Lots of good seafood, and don't miss the ribs as an appetizer. It can get a little expensive as well, however.

It's on Sand Lake Road, west of I-4, near the Publix.

I use to live in Florida and would make many trips to "Boston Lobster Feast" on Internat'l drive. It is all you can eat Lobster, crab legs, shrimp, etc. The restaurant has a website too.

We always make a trip to Lonestar Steak House which is delicious. Even my dad who hates country music with a passion sticks it out for great steaks.

Already mentioned has been Pebbles. That's a delicious restaurant and just about everyone can find something they will enjoy.

If you're looking for ribs, try the Tony Roma's on International Drive. One of the best Roma's I've been too.

If you're looking for a quick place to eat in the World, go to Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club Resort. It's my favorite place in WDW. The food is great, the atmosphere is fun and it's an easy in and out.

We went there last time and really enjoyed it too! In fact, my son still talks about Ed, our waiter!

My son and his cousins are big NASCAR fans, so we have to hit RaceRock at least once while we're there - the food is pretty good, the service is good, and they love seeing all the memorabelia. it's right on International Drive.

There's this place called Jungle Jim's near the property, that my family and I visit every time we're down there. It's themed in a RainForest Cafe type of way, and has very good food, and affordable too.

When we go to Universal, we like to hit the Cracker Barrel that is less than a mile away.

Christini's - Off Sand Lake Rd. (Dr. Phillips area) very nice italian and for me the best part is they don't allow any infants or toddlers, so you can have a nice quiet dinner.

Morton's Steak House Off Sand Lake Rd. right next to Christini's

Emeril's on Citiwalk at Universal

Tu Tu Tango is great, but because it is tapas, it can get pricey with big eaters, but love the banana pizza for dessert, not to mention there are artists in the restaurant doing their work (and you can buy their stuff) and you can talk to them. The one night we were there, the flaminco dancers were there. This place was on Rachel Ray's $40 a day when she did Orlando.
