Best place to use QSDP.

Hey Everyone!

So we are booked and counting down our vacation! We are T-Minus 154 days!

We got the QSDP with our free dining pin. We aren't going to update to the regular DP just because we don't want to be tied down to a time slot since we will have a 10 month old at the time. Past few times we have had the QSDP I always say i'm going to try new places out and we end up eating at the same places. This trip I would LOVE to try different QSDP locations. Whether they are at a resort, DTD or at the Parks what are some of your QSDP Gems? What QS location offers up something different and not just a typical burger or pizza?

Best Our Guest for lunch. The line looks intimidatng, but go later in the day, say 1:00 or 1:30 PM. I waited 15 minutes to order my food. and it is good and the atmosphere is excellent, and only one QS credit

MK - Columbia Harbor House
Sleepy Hallow Refreshments - Nutella & Fresh Fruit Waffle
Be Our Guest (This is not a favorite, I never tried it BUT, if I were just doing QS in the parks I would have to give it a twirl!
EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons
Tangierine Cafe

DTD - Earl of Sandwich
Cooks of Dublin and Wolf Gang Puck
AK - Flame Tree (This is based on my families experience, I don't eat anything on the menu)
DHS - Hmmm.....Who's got something...anything????

Yes - This is one is a must for us! It'll be our first time going with the New Fantasyland! I cannot wait! This is one place i won't mind waiting!!!

OMG - they are delish! They opened one up in a Casino by me, and me and the hubby go just to eat there!

DTD - Earl of Sandwich - We had them for the first time our last trip!! I was also very happy to hear they opened one up in Manhattan! It was really good!!
Cooks of Dublin and Wolf Gang Puck - Cooks of Dublin - I will give them a try! WGP - We love!!

DHS - Hmmm.....Who's got something...anything???? - You said it! lol. I am NEVER satisfied with anything I have to eat in DHS unless it's a TS.

I really want to try to make the most of the QSDP this trip. We always eat the same ol thing just because we know it's safe...lol. This time I want to expand a bit and see if we find new favs!

Whatever you do, skip any of the standard Disney Pizza. I always challange myself to avoid a hamburger while at WDW. Some of the better quickserves are at the resorts. Poly has a pork sandwich I enjoy.

Here is mine:
MK - Columbia Harbor House & Pecos Bills Tall Tale Inn
Epcot - Tangierine Cafe' in Morocco was a really good surprise this past trip but anywhere in WS
AK - Flame Tree BBQ (Really good ribs) - get a table behind the where you order by the lake overlooking Everest. So peaceful - My happy place when eating there. ahhh......
HS - Backlot Express (Burgers and free drink/coffee refills while you are there since that is self serve)
DTD - Earl of Sandwich & Wolf Gang Puck Express

I would have to agree with the above posters and all of their suggestions. But, I'd like to add some resorts to the list:

On the Boardwalk: a large pizza, two drinks, and two desserts = 2 QS points!!

Contemporary, Contempo Cafe: a very nice menu variation....plus, if you're staying at this resort, you can exchange 1 QS point for 2 snack options!

Art of Animation: I personally have yet to eat at their QS place, but I've heard good things from their menu!

We did Be Our Guest in March. We got in line at about 10:30 am and were seated with our food at 11:30. The food wasn't the most amazing QS I've ever had but the experience was SO worth the wait in line. You have to go in there!

My other suggestions that I love are:
Epcot - Tangierine Cafe, La Cantina de San Angel, Lotus Blossom Cafe
Magic Kingdom - Be Our Guest, Cosmic Rays
Animal Kingdom - Flame Tree, Restaurantosaurus
DHS - Backlot Express
