Wondering what people's views experiences are on any of the restaurants in the Downtown Disney area?

We are on our honeymoon in April and are going to see La Nouba one night and wanted somewhere to eat afterwards......... Any suggestions / comments would be great as we never really ate down there on our previous trips??

Suggestions for any good restaurants (Breakfast/lunch/dinner) throughout WDW would be good too as we would like to try some different places!

Thanks :)

Even though it is Quick Service we loved Wolfgang Puck Express. It is for sure the best quick service value at Disney. The Macaroni and Cheese was amazing- everything we got was great.

For lunch I would suggest the earl of sandwich. Awesome sandwiches and very reasonably priced. I would also suggest that you check out the menus at some of the locations and see what is offered. This site and allearsnet.com are the places I would suggest for menu surfing. Have fun!

My favorite food for a dinner spot is Portobello's, which is Italian. It's very very good, we've been there several times.

For a more fun environment, we'll eat at T-Rex or Rainforest Cafe. The food is alright, but we go more for the theme. We prefer the food at Portobello.

For lunch, I totally agree with Earl of Sandwich. Anything I've ever had there is delicious!

Other places in WDW that I love to eat at: Kona Cafe @ Polynesian, Ohana @ Polynesian, Boma @ AKL, Crystal Palace @ Magic Kingdom, California Grille @ Contemporary, Garden Grille @ Epcot. There's lots of reviews of restaurants on this site that might help you pick out some great places! :)

Here is another vote for Raglan Road!
I will also add that Paradiso 37 sounds good, I am trying it for the first time on my next trip the draw being the Tequila. :slurp:

We go to the House of Blues and have always enjoyed it. The menu has some good variety, cool atmosphere and the food has always been good. And it is directly across from La Nouba.

Our last three meals in DD were Earl of Sandwich, Capnt Jacks, and T Rex.

Sandwich was great, We were pleasently surprised with C Jacks.

T rex is good with kids. Its just a very noisey Rainforest.

Great, thank you all very much! Given me a few ideas, have seen many of the places mentioned but it's nice to hear people's experiences good and bad!

We loved the rosemary chicken dish at Wolfgang Pucks and would eat there again, it was the one time we were on the dining plan and it was considered a counter service meal plus we didn't have to have ressies.
