Best Place for a Haircut?

What is the best place for an adult haircut at WDW?

lol, I got a haircut at the YC on our first trip to WDW. It cost me $35 (before tip :hammer: ). IMHO, get one before you go.

Depends on what you're looking for.

Something nice and easy can be done at the barber shop on Main Street for about 15 bucks.

The Grand, Yacht/Beach, and I believe Coronado all have salons that you can have your hair done for a minimum of about $30.

Never had a haircut at one of the resorts, but I love the cut at the Main Street Barber Shop. You get your hair colored and, according to a CM at Mickey's Backyard BBQ, Tinkerbell throws up on your hair (sprinkled with pixie dust).

We just got back from a short trip and had my grandson's hair cut at the Harmony Barber Shop on Main Street. They did a "great" job! It was $12.00 for children and $15.00 for adults!! Very reasonable.

My Grandson got his hair cut very short and then she styled it in a mohawk, colored red, with mickey confetti and a mickey shape on the back! of his head. also in red! :lol: He got "LOTS" of attention --- the rest of the day!! Ah Huh!

Like I said they did a really great job, she also gave him a free pin -- something that was a real suprise. I do not know if this is always done but he was very happy! :sohappy: ( Hummm we were ?? we had tried to keep him away from the pins-- for now--Opps? now we had to buy a lanyard-- Ha Ha)

Before we went I tried to find some info on the Disney Web site but could not find much. The hours they are open are from 9-5 , 7 days a week, no appointments taken, just walk in's. Like I said I was very happy with the $$ especially for Disney and with all the extras! ( to the left of the Emporium on Main street, by the Fire House )

A fun place for all ages-- We got a few free sprinkles too-- While we were there a young boy came in and just got color (red, yellow, blue, green lots of choices ) and sprinkles in his hair-- $5.00??? !!! WOW!! At Disney!!! :lol:

i just found the barber shop on mainstreet this weekend. i didnt get it cut though b/c i just had one b4 i went.( my job made me or else i would get fired). i wanted one but it wasnt needed

last trip i thought it would be fun to go to the barbershop for a cut, but every time i went there was a big wait and it didn't happen. it was a cool place, but wasn't as fun as i expected.

is it my imagination or didnt the dapper dans used to hang out there? are they just completely gone now? havent seen them a few trips in a row.
