In your opinion, what is the best or most expensive quick service restaurants? They do not have to be inside the park. We enjoy visiting the resorts and Disney Springs. Please provide your top 5 restaurants and what you order.

Thank you for your help.

Here are my 6 picks (I couldn't leave one off) for the best Counter/Quick service restaurants around property (I suppose they would be considered pricier than the others)

Boardwalk Bakery (BWR)
Cookes of Dublin (DS)
The Mara (AKL)
Pepper Market (CSR)
Tangierine Café (Epcot)
Wolfgang Puck Express (DS)

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Best most expensive QS:

MK - Columbia Harbor House, BOG, Pecos Bills

Epcot- Sunshine Seasons, Liberty Inn, Summerfest (Germany QS)

AK- we love others but the priciest of them Is Flame Tree

HS- Starring Rolls or Fairfax Fare (none are that expensive at HS)

Disney Springs - Wolfgang Puck Express (marketplace side) , Cookes of Dublin, Food trucks

Resorts - The Mara @ AKL , Captain Cooks @ The Poly, and Sassagola @ POR/ POFQ

I sent one of my coworkers there and she was appalled that they didn't have "anything for kids." Protip: If you only feed your kids chicken fingers, they're only going to ever want chicken fingers.
Soooooo, chicken fingers and burgers were not kid friendly enough for them?

LOL! Tangierine Cafe is my family's favorite CS restaurant on property, and my kids' only complaint was that the kids' menu didn't have anything exotic! They picked at their burgers the first time we went, stealing stuff off of our plates instead, so on our next visit, we ordered them a shawarma platter to split. The flavors aren't even that exotic -- if you like meat, lemon, mint, honey, etc., you will like the flavor profile at Tangierine Cafe.

My 5 favorite CS restaurants (I can't say if they're the most expensive) are:

1 - Tangierine Cafe (Epcot)
2 - Columbia Harbor House (MK)
3 - Flame Tree BBQ (AK)
4 - Sunshine Seasons (Epcot)
5 - Casey's (MK - our family enjoys a good hot dog as much as a good steak, and there's something about being able to eat it outdoors while a parade goes by...)

(These are all choices we've enjoyed for lunch. We typically have breakfast in our resort room with cereal and fruit brought from home, and have a TS dinner.)

My personal favorites are
MK-BOG
Epcot-Sunshine Seasons and Lotus Blossom Cafe (I love their orange chicken)
Animal Kingdom-my husband loves Flame Tree BBQ, I usually get the lobster Mac and cheese that I believe is now gone :/
DHS- Starring Roles Cafe
Disney Springs-Wolfgang Puck Express
We don't usually eat at resort QS unless it's breakfast.

Why "most expensive"? Are you looking to avoid those for something cheaper, or are you trying to game the dining plan?

Yes, just for dining plan purposes. I think we have decided on Flame Tree, Columbia Harbor House, La Cantina de San Angel, and maybe Gasparilla Island Grill.

Thank you for all the replies...

And this is one of the many reasons I don't like the dining plan. I want to eat what I want, not what's going to be the most cost effective for the plan. I hope it works for you, though!

Thanks and I kind of agree with you. However, me being the "foodie" I am, have done a little research to see which restaurants will be most accommodating for the family. I hope it works well.
