Best of the Counter Service Restaurants

There are so many good sit down restaurants in Disney but sometimes ( especially with kids) there are some real nice counter service ones to choose from. Our favorite is Columbia House across from Haunted House. My favorite there that I get all the time is the Fried Shrimp Basket with fries and a pickle. The Fish and Fries is awsum too! What are some of your favorites?

I love Sunset Ranch Market in DHS, because It is a great people watching location and I know im probably in the minority here but I like to soak up the rays while I'm in Florida. Other favorites are Pecos Bill because of the fixin bar and El Pirata y el Perico, Tortuga Tavern, or whatever their calling it now. Nachos are always a great midday snack for me.

Flame Tree at AK.. great food

Sunshine Seasons at Epcot - great variety

Cosmic Rays or Pecos Bills at MK.. just fun

Earl of Sandwich at DTD - great sandwiches

the food court at Contemporary is also really good..

Dole Whip at the counter serve at Poly

For my money:

MK - Colombia Harbour House

Epcot - Sunshine Season (FW), Tangierine Cafe (WS)

DHS - tie Backlot Express and Starring Rolls

DAK - Yak & Yeti local food Cafes (for now)

DTD - tie Earl of Sandwich, Cookes of Dublin

Resorts - Boardwalk To Go (BWR), Picabu (Dolphin), Mara (AKL), Pepper Market (CSR), Trails End To Go (FW)

MK- Casey's Corner for a pair of hot dogs

EPCOT- The Tequila Cave...got a couple decent apps

Studios - Have not eaten here in about 5 years

AK - Also have not eaten here in 5 years

Columbia Harbor House is my #1 favorite. Because I love fried shrimp and I love the apple dessert. I get so sick of burgers/chocolate cake for counter services.

MK has great CS - Casey's Corner: Corn dog nuggets!
- Pecos Bills: Pulled pork

DHS - Starring Rolls for cupcakes

EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons and anywhere in World Showcase

AK - Flame Tree BBQ

My Choices.

M/k has to be Columbia harbour,great seating upstairs,great food,over at Epcot,a no brainer,Sunshine Seasons,opp soarin,amazing variety,all tasty,to A/K,hmm,a toss up between FTB and PF.at H/Studios,just one we like,Backlot,and D/Town,plenty,from WPE to Cookes, to Earls.:slurp:.Roll on 2012,Ill worry about the diet when we get home.:zipit:

MK - Main Street Bakery for breakfast, Pecos Bills
EPCOT - Sunshine Seasons
AK - Flame Tree
HS - Fairfax Fare (they have a pretty good salad. Chili instead of taco meat)

never eaten counter service at HS or AK but for
MK = cosmic rays, without a doubt
Epcot = lotus blossom & the cantina stand outside mexico (but only for the nachos) ha
DTD = earl of sandwich
