Best night for MNSSHP

Now that the dates for MNSSHP have been released I see that there are SIX potential party nights for us.

I was thinking that Tuesday night would probably be the best night to go, but I wanted advice because Sunday will be my son's birthday so I thought that it might be a fun way to celebrate - but not if it's going to be super crowded.

My assumption would be that Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights would probably be more crowded because of people making weekend trips, but I wanted to hear what you all think!

Our last trip for MNSSHP was great until we planned too much that day and the kids (my daughter and niece) were ready to crash by 9:30pm. This time I have a better plan in place, but I want to make sure we get the most out of our evening.

Attended on Tuesday night during first week of October 2019. Place was packed, long lines for candy, we ended up skipping most of the Halloween stuff and rode the rides. Most of them had very short wait line. Watched the parade, stage show and fireworks. This was big change from last time we attended ( 6 years ago). Took 1 1/2 hour to get bus back to resort after the party. You really never know what crowds will be like until you get there. This was suppose to be less crowded week when we went but ended up being very crowded all week. Have fun and maybe you will get lucky as far as crowd.

Another Question...So what crowds are bigger, Regular Park Day or A MNSSHP? Would you go to MK during the DAY or wait and go during the party?

So kinda both:

I hear party days are pretty chill in the mornings since those without party tickets would rather visit on another day to get a full park day. At the same time, I wouldn't recommend buying a ticket and a party ticket and use it on the same day because honestly you are wasting your MK ticket with about 5 less hours.

That being said, parties are pretty crowded, sometimes just as much or more as a regular park day.

Its funny to me, I remember when the reason to go to the parties was to avoid overcrowding and I think they used to ONLY be on weekends, lol.

For sure, it is sad how they used to advertise the parties as a way to enjoy less crowds but now most parties are more crowded than regular days.
