Wow! Yay for you! Congrat's in advance. Romance isn't how I would describe any dining at the MK. Could you pop out to one of the resort monorail loop restaurants? That would likely set the tone better. Tony's is the only one that is semi quiet and the food isn't exactly great. The monorail resorts have plenty of choices.

Come back and let us know how it all unfolds after the proposal.

I have to agree go to a monorail resort. V&A, Citrico's, California Grill are 3 places I recommend. Non signature restaurants would be Grand Floridian Cafe or Kona Cafe.

↑ Agreed. I don't think anything at the Magic Kingdom really fits the bill. If you want to celebrate with her, try Citricos at the Grand Floridian, or even better, take a boat to the Wilderness Lodge and have dinner at Artist Point.

Agree with others re: MK not being best choice. Be Our Guest dinners are very hard to reserve from what I have read and from my own experience. It easily books up 180 days out - today, at 181 days out, I found it booked up already for dinner. Pick someplace where you won't have to worry about so much getting in and how busy it is.

MK dining is passe if you are looking for couples dining...So many other good choices at EPCOT or DTD. Not every meal has to be memorable so consider CS meals at MK and enjoy the rides instead ;)

Nothing in the park. As others have stated, venture over to one of the local resorts and enjoy a meal there. My top two suggestions would be Cali Grill or Narcoossee's.

Cinderealla's Royal Table of course!!! You know how beautiful and wonderful that would be! She would get to tell all her friends that she was proposed to in Cinderella's, CINDERELLA's Castle! I would be envious.
I mean, since you're proposing to her, make it one of the Disney Princess restaurants, or since you know her, some other movie or character from Disney she likes.
Get a 9:30pm reservation and you will get to watch the fireworks from inside the castle, and meet princesses and all that. We just ate there 11 days ago. It was magical. We got lucky and got a seat right next to the window.

They have a proposal package at the restaurant I think.

Here it is.

I was going to suggest Plaza Restaurant as more intimate and fun place than Tony's with better food, but this suggestion for Cinderella's kind of blew that idea out the window. Great video too.

Otherwise I agree with all the other suggestions to step out of MK and dine along the monorail loop. Lots of great options there for dinner.

I actually did this, and in hindsight wish I had done something else...it is not as private and intimate as you would like it to be, also, it can be a bit overwhelming and confusing to your beloved as the photo pass person will start snapping a whole bunch of photos while you are doing it....kind of takes the romance out of it. Also, the food really isn't anything special. The glass slipper is a great keepsake and we have a lot of great photos of it, but it almost felt a bit commercial now looking back on it. If I could do it over, I would definitely choose one of the monorail resorts for dinner and then maybe propose somewhere during wishes or illuminations.
