Best hotel for budget - POR, CS or CBR?

Well I just wanted to get everyone's opinions on something. My budget at the moment can only run to something like Port Orleans, Coronado Springs or Caribbean Beach resort, so I was wondering...

Which is the best? Do any of these have view of any theme park land marks, and how easy is it to get to downtown disney from here?

POR definitely! It has a very romantic feel to it and if you are on a budget then the food court will be good for you - there are a lot of choices for all 3 meals. Our favorite building is Magnolia Terrace. It is an easy walk to the main pool, food court, and bus stop, and it is a beautiful building with sweeping stairways and beautiful courtyards. If I were you, I would request a room with a courtyard view and not a parking lot view (if you don't pay extra for a water view). It is very romantic.

French Quarter!!! It's alot smaller which made it feel more cozy. Riverside is very big and spread out. It's could be a hike for food/drink.

I would normall say french quarter but i recently went there and i found that the busses were really unreliable and heard many complaints from other guests. It seemed like it didnt matter where you were going it was almost impossible to get there. Some people were waiting 45 minutes to get back to the resort from DHS. Then we tried to go to downtown disney, and it took abouther half hour to get to downtown disney. I havent had that bad luck before but i still stand by CS Having the BEST transportation out of any resort on property. The food court is above and beyond the other moderates but POR for breakfast is worth it :) Banana stuffed french toast is pretty insanely good.

I love the Coronado Springs it is beautiful! I feel it has a more "adult" feel to it with the Salon & Spa, the Numerous bars and Restaurants, and now RIX Lounge.
If you are going with friends or your a young couple it is a great place to get away from the "family" side of Disney (IMO) not that the "family" side is a problem its just nice to have a break every once in awhile. With Pleasure Island closing the Boardwalk and the Coronado seem to be the place to be now when you would like to "party".

Just back from the trip and we found the POR to be great for our budget, not too cheap but not too expensive. It was a great area for walking round and it was really romantic. Thanks again to everyone's suggestions.

CSR is our favorite (seven stays and number eight booked). However, if you are only going to be there one night it would be a waste--you wouldn't be able to join any of the extras the CSR offers--spa/fitness center and you will miss the only moderate which has queen size beds. If you are down to choosing between POR and POFQ, I would say POFQ. We've never stayed at any of the other moderates (we figure no point in leaving what works for us), but we have visited them all and the only one we would even possibly consider trying is the POFQ--love it's size, themeing, etc.

Oops...see what happens when I jump in late and don't read the last entry. Glad you enjoyed POR.

I have to say POR. I've stayed at both French Quarter and Riverside many times and I'm never disappointed with my stays. I really love the atmosphere at Riverside and how 'at home' it makes you feel. Probably my favorite part is the landscaping for each of the different buildings. Each building is very unique in it's own way. You can't go wrong here.
