Thanks, I was considering HoJo's and you all pretty much confirmed it, sorry for Highjacking the thred for my own personal question.

No Problem! Thank you. I'm considering HoJo's now too. Still trying to get out of WDW mode and convincing myself to stay in a Non-Disney hotel.

I always stay at WDW resorts as well; I have not been to Disneyland in 10 years although I'm closer to Disneyland. At WDW you can take advantage of the free transportation to and from the airport and then you need transportation around the parks. A minivan rental will cost you $400, at Disneyland, no need for transportation around the parks and we're driving. When we go to WDW we get the free dinning plan for staying at a Moderate Resort. At Disneyland the dinning plan stinks it's just pay money to have cash vouchers, they really need to offer a better dinning plan. The only benefit I see is to have your purchases delivered to the Hotel but once again we will have a stroller with us, so not a huge benefit. I don't see $1000 more for the vacation to be worth it to stay on property when it's a 10 minute walk right to the gate from an offsite hotel. I can even still get magic mornings from an offsite hotel. HoJo's it is.

I agree the cost/benefit ratio doesn't add up. My trip is in November. The only way I would stay at a Disney Hotel is if the is a 25-30% discount like the one being offered now...and even then it's still pricey.
