Best food at Disneyland and California Adventure?

At its best I think its around Chick-Fil-A quality. Either way, eating on the balcony overlooking ROA makes for a tranquil eating experience so I highly recommend!

I do remember sitting behind hungry bear and watching the trains go by every 10 minutes or so - it was awesome. Definitely agree! I have my love-hate relationship with Chick-Fil-A.. amazing when I eat inside and it's fresh, but disgusting if I have to take it home.

DCA: Pixar Pier fried chicken and cookie nom-noms. Boardwalk Pizza and Pasta sundried chicken pesto, ravioli, and spaghetti and meatballs (but NOT the sangria).

I have heard really bad things about the fried chicken in Pixar pier. Interesting to hear you mention it. Is this the same chicken being sold at the chicken kids meal box?

Sorry. I was just quoting a CM who got the free sample backstage mini-drumstick mini-cookie bite and said they were tasty. I shouldn't have quoted something as fact when I haven't actually tried it.

I always felt the Hungry Bear restaurant was pretty disgusting. There are three places I would never eat at Disneyland. The Hungry Bear, Pizza Planet and Red Rose Tavern.

Hungry Bear is one of my regular go-to's. The food isn't super interesting, but the crispy chicken sandwich is always solid IMO and you just can't beat the view. Love sitting on the upper deck and soaking in the sights from the ROA.

I agree the view is good especially in the upper corner away from everyone. Too bad the lower floor is ruined now. I will miss feeding the ducks. Never had the chicken sandwich since it is covered in gluten.

Disneyland will and always be the Blue Bayou. If you have any picky eaters in your party the menu is very adult non-kid friendly. The food at the hungry bear is everyday, but for some reason it just always hits the spot. The Monte Cristo, Yes. To be honest the Plaza Chicken Dinner is a $40 KFC Meal, not worth the money to me.
DCA- Wine Country Tractonia is a very fine meal and with a dining package for PTN Parade, so worth it. You already know the lobster nachos, so your good.
Disneyland Hotel-Trader Sams is fun if you can get a seat. Tangora Terrace brings me back to the Polynesian I love.

I guess I'm in the minority when I say avoid Blue Bayou except for the atmosphere. Maybe we got unlucky. Enojoyed Smokejumpers and Hungry Bear.
