Best EPCOT Attraction....

<P>In my opinion the best attraction in Future World is a tie between Test Track and Spaceship Earth, I've never been on M:S yet, but I hear its great. The best attraction in World Showcase is a tie between the Maelstrom, and IllumiNations firework show...I even remember going to see IllumiNations during a time when there were many wildfires so fireworks were at a minimum but there were lasers instead, and that was some time ago..also in April 2003 was the first time I have seen the Fountain of Nations actually going for almost 4 years from the long shortage of rain the seems to come back every year when me and my family go....at least we got it on film this time!!!! PIN CENTRAL ROCKZ MY SOCKZ!

I do believe this thread has been done about a million times. However not everyone knows that so I will go along. I am going to have to break this down. In Future World it is a tie between Spaceship Earth(sadly rumored to be changed)and Test Track. In World Showcase I also have a tie between Mexico and The American Adventure.

I enjoy Spaceship Earth the most in Future World (actually, it's my favorite ride in all of WDW), and Illuminations the most in World Showcase.

Disneyisbest, you dont have to be rude. And so you know the idea of gutting SE was scrapped and the idea now is to put Time Racers as a post show.

Since Horizons and Journey Into Imagination (the original) are no longer there, I'd say it's a tie between Test Track, Maelstrom, & El Rio Del Tiempo. I haven't been on Mission: Space yet.

Love your avitar maelstrom, I love Rio Del Tiempo too, it's not as exciting as the Maelstrom, and the line is much more easy to handle, but it's still a great ride, but the BEST boat ride in all of WDWR is 100% PotC, I don't care what anyone says about that, It is <B>THE</B> best boat ride. I wonder why the line is always only 10-20 people, and only takes a few minutes...they better not close that attraction!! That would make me sick if they do...:hurl:

Well you go ahead and make one in PSP or Photoshop. And then on the avatar page there is a place to upload it. You don't have to be a contributor to have a custom avatar.

For me in FW, I would have to tally my votes, on Spaceship Earth, and Test Track. I have not riden mission space yet so that could be added soon. In the WS, I have Illuminations in first, followed by the American Adventure. Hopefully that is true about Spaceship Earth being saved, it would have been a shame to see a classic go.

Goofyfan, yeah it would be HORRIBLE!! if they closed and gutted SE, I mean when I was really little (and you know how educational that ride is) all i wanted to do was ride that over and over, like the WDW Railroad, when they were building Splash Mountain, so you had to turn your seat..haha parents got annoyed with that..OH WELL!! lol

In FW I would have to say my favorite ride is Test Track and in WS I love Maelstrom it's just a great ride(plus my family has some inside jokes on it:animwink: ).

As for my EPCOT favs, I love SSE (so glad they're not gutting it!) , really like HISTA, and miss the heck out of Horizons!

I also really enjoy people watching in the WS at night...yeah, I know that's not an actual attraction, but I still like it!

<P>I agree the Maelstrom is great fun, and my family has inside jokes about it too, but probably nothing like what you have. Our jokes have to do with a person we saw on the lin for it when you are in the big room going back and forth for the line, when we get to the middle of the line and middle of the room we always remember seeing the teacher from my school (6th grade math) and how we disliked him...but either way we still love the Maelstrom...haha :sohappy:
