Was just sitting around fire place trying to stay warm here in the Hoosier State. Being a Florida transplant anything below 70 is Sub Artic weather...
Anyway.. remembered when I was 15 years old and a very(back then) exciting experience happened to me and 3 of my friends. All of 3 of us were and still are Die hard Disney fans. We lived in Sunrise, FL( Ft Lauderdale) which was about 4 hours SE of Disney. Over the Freshman/sophomore Summer we saw that there was a Trailways bus that would charter buses to Disney every weekend. Well we talked our parents into letting us go.
Got up one Saturday at 5 am parents drove us to bus station... Got to MK around 9ish. The bus driver made an announcement that we all needed to be back by 8 pm... He then said OR.. there is another bus that is there at 10 if you want to stay later.
Sooo.... we had a great day at MK... and decided to take the later bus home. Well.. at 10 we walked out to the bus lot and behold... NO BUS... turns out the guy gave us the wrong info... We called our parents and asked if we could stay at the park somewhere until they could make the last minute 4 hour drive to Orlando.. Disney said no.. But a Transportation CM named Tim offered to take us to 192 and drop us off at a local hotel so we could sleep in lobby until parents go there...
So Tim drove us to local Holiday Inn... now keep in mind we were soooo excited since we got to ride in an official WDW car...( I know we were-are Nerds)... My Mom asked the hotel to book us a room so they could just drive in the morning and get us.. they said no since Minors... so we sat in the lobby for 4 hours until they got there..
We all ate Breakfast at around 6 am at Waffle House on 192.. Of course we asked since our parents are there now... what about a day at Disney???? Of course that did not go over to well...
