Hi everyone!

12 days and counting until we leave for WDW!!! I was just wondering, what was the best dessert you ever had at WDW and where did you have it?

Thanks for your input! :slurp:

My vote goes for a simple one, that is great none the less. Teh pinapple slices and warm caramel at Ohana's. It is so good and they keep giving it to you if you want more! we must have ate 5 servings when we went there while I was on the CP. The food is decent, but the dessert makes the meal!

Meega, nala kwishta!
Best one I've had is at Jiko at the AKL:

Cardamom Chocolate Kgetsana - Macadamia nut and cardamom ganache filled Beggar's purses with a carmalized orange dipping sauce

Absolutle fantastic...:slurp:

Most people probably don't order dessert at Ohana, but we do just get this yummy concoction! It's called the Coconut Snowball -- vanilla ice cream rolled in toasted coconut then drizzled with hot fudge. It's absolutely sinful!

And on a simpler note -- if you like rice pudding, try the rice cream with strawberries at Norway! YUM!

Oooooh! I forgot about this one. I love the Maya Grill -- between the best margaritas on property and awesome desserts, I could eat there every night. I think the desert FatBoy is talking about also has bananas in it and there's a warm soupy sauce under the ice and the churros come of the side. MMMMM!

I wish I was didn't have to wait until August now!

The BEST BEST dessert is the "Tiramisu" at Alfredo's in the Italy Pavillion...I have had Tiramisus everywhere and this one just tops the cake!!! WOW. And the Canoli there is absolutely wonderful too. Also the best canoli I ever had! There is also this place in Epcot which is not at any Country Pavillion. Its like a cafeteria where they have coffee and desserts galore. Actually I think they sell food there too but there's one little section of just desserts and coffee. The Creme Brulee is fantastic!!! But overall I'd say the Tiramisu at Italy is just AMAZING. Can't wait till I'm there next weekend to indulge!!!

Keep it sweet and simple....

I'm not normally a big dessert guy, but my wife's a self proclaimed chocoholic and the last time we were were visiting we had dinner at the 50's Prime Time Cafe and proceeded to order the S'Mores Dessert, it was UNBELIEVABLE!

It's hard to imagine something so simple tasting so VERY good!

They just put a few Graham crackers on the bottom, a couple of Hershey Bars on top of the Graham crackers, about a dozen marshmellows on top of them both, drizzle it with chocolate, put it in the oven for a few seconds to make it warm and bingo!

I hope you're all hungry now :-)

Take care
