Hi everyone!

12 days and counting until we leave for WDW!!! I was just wondering, what was the best dessert you ever had at WDW and where did you have it?

Thanks for your input! :slurp:

Just got back yesterday, best dessert we had was the white chocolate cheesecake that is a special dessert for the 100 Years of Magic at the Brown Derby. It was delicious! In fact the whole meal was great. Have a great trip!

The chocolate mousse at L'Originale Alfredo... in the Italy Pavilion was very good. We were not going to get dessert, but they bring the whole tray over to your table and you can't resist!!! Have a wonderful time!!! :slurp:

(For Me) This is not even close...

In France in EPCOT you will find a pastery shop on the back streets. Inside they sell a pastery appropriately named the "marvelous". It is absolutely the best dessert @ WDW.

Second for me would probably be the canole in Italy - I love those things too!

And of course, you can't forget the freshly baked Ice Cream Cookie Sandwiches from the Main Street Bakery in MK... They are a million times better than the frozen ones from the carts.

Have a great time!!

I am a diehard chocoholic, but I wasn't crazy about the marvelous . The France pavilion has a lot of wonderful pastries. I have also heard that Norway has very good pastries!!!

Anyone who has been to one of my other posts has most likely knows what my answer is to this question. And that would be Anyone? Anyone? (ben Stine refrence) From the Canada Pavilion
Anyone? Anyone?

Beaver tail. It's so yummy

A second for me is at Kona Cafe when the pineapple is in season. mmmmmm

While the food itself at the Maya Grill at Coronado Springs is subpar and overpriced, they have a dessert that involves churros and coconut ice cream. It's good, real good. I got this thing at Victoria and Albert's that had carmelized bananas. It was also good. I don't think I can pick a favorite, but I don't think we can leave out premium Mickey bars! Anyone remember when the whole thing was not covered in hard chocolate, and it was vanilla ice cream with chocolate eyes, mouth, and hard ears? I miss those days...

Well, It's now Innoventions Plaza, no longer communicore (sniffle)

The dessert place is Fountain View Expresso and bakery.

I would have to vote for the Creme Brulee Sampler at Wolfgang Puck's at DD Westside. The chocolate one was amazing. . .

And the chocolate croissants at France in Epcot. . .yummy!

Beaches & Cream is good for ice cream but I personally think the Dolphin Fountain at The Dolphin is better (and usually less crowded).

However, the best dessert I ever had at WDW was back in the late 80's - early 90's. There was a restaurant at The Contemporary (I believe where Chef Mickey's is now). They had a special dessert the night we ate there. It was a seven layer chocolate cake with a raspberry buttercream icing. We ordered one piece and it ws HUGE! The cake must have been about 8 inches high. Three of us couldn't finish it. It was sooooo good.

I have never seen it again :( .
