The best day I has was in EPCOT about 1986,

Communicore
World of Motion
Horizons
Imagination
Land
Space Ship Earth

I really could not believe it, here at last a place that is educational, fun for adults.....

They dumbed down the place and I miss it.

Whey Hey!

Well this is an easy one for me, here's a previous post of mine:

Hello all! Just got back yesterday from spending eight days down in Orlando and visiting the World. On our second day, I proposed to my (now) fiancee after the Beauty and the Beast show at DHS. Beauty and the Beast is her favorite Disney movie. She loves Belle. She loved the show when we saw it last year when she was there for the first time. Four months ago I started planning the proposal. I got in contact with the stage manager of the BATB show. My fiancee is usually very good at figuring things out and ruining surprises. Usually the second she sees something a little off she becomes very inquisitive and dwells on it until she figures out what's going on. Due to this, I had to try and make everything seem like it was spur of the moment or I had no control
I arranged for a Disney Photopass Photographer to be at the show. The plan was to "notice" her there and suggest that maybe we get a picture in front of the stage, and eventually work up to getting a picture actually on the stage. Well, before I could even work my way up to the on the stage part, she came right out and said, "Maybe we can get a picture actually on the stage!" I was so excited that she brought it up. It made it seem like it was her idea, helping me keep her in the dark about what was going on. So I went over to the photographer, introduced myself (she knew who I was obviously because it was all arranged for her to be there since there isn't normally a photographer at this show) and told her that I was just pretending to ask permission to take a picture on the stage. After a few moments I turned back around and went back to my fiancee and told her that it was going to be ok and that we could actually do it, we just had to wait for everyone to clear out so that everyone wouldn't see us and want pictures up there too.

So we waited a bit, and then once everyone left we were escorted up on to the stage and we took a few pics. I then suggested we take some fun poses and she suggested dancing but I had something better in mind. I dropped to my knee and proposed. She was completely surprised. After she said yes, the stage manager gave the cue and the curtain was raised to reveal the entire cast of the show waiting there to congratulate us and take pictures with us. The prince presented her with a Princess Engagement package that I purchased through the Disney Florist. We took a few pictures with them and we were on our way. The entire cast and crew and especially the stage manager went above and beyond for us. We were even given fastpasses for the park to be used on any ride and a special one for Toy Story Mania! She told me afterward that the proposal was perfect and she couldn't have asked for anything better. She also assured me that she had absolutely NO idea that I was planning anything. Thank you Disney for an amazing magical moment that the two of us will never forget.

My best day was my 40th birthday!

We had breakfast at Kona Cafe (Tonga Toast, natch!) and spent the day at MK. Mary Poppins was the first character to wish me a Happy Birthday, followed by a million other people. Lines were surprisingly short for July. We had a great dinner at Tony's. And we ended the day watching the fireworks on the bridge to Tomorrowland where Tinkerbell flew right over me and sprinkled me with fairy dust!

Has to be the very first time I went, I was 22 and walking down Main Street, the Barbershop Quartet was singing, the balloons, the shopsI I was hooked already. Then we went to Adventureland and the first thing I saw was the Tiki Birds, I was just so amazed, everything was magical. That was in 1982 and I still love the Tiki birds regardless of what anyone says. The next day we went to the opening of Epcot which was special too! We had the Magic Key (or Golden Key?) plan and we ate and ate and ate! Totally turned me onto Disney restuarants. We stayed at the Contemparary and that was so awesome with the monorail. So much magic that trip!

The best day I ever had at Disney World was when I went there with my friends 0n Dec. 27, 2017. The previous day me and my father went to EPCOT where I rode Test Track several times and Journey Into Imagination. The highlight for me was getting to ride Space Mountain with those friends, something I had been wanting to do since like 2012. There were 8 in my group (I was one of only 2 men in the group, the other 6 were women), and when the attendant asked how many were in our group, the other man and his GF took an earlier train. That meant me and the other 5 women had a ride vehicle all to ourselves! Just what I wanted!!! Out of all the times I've been on Space Mountain, that's the time that I've had the most fun.

I cant wait to take kids to Disney, I am sure that when that happens, those days will become my favorite.

And I can't wait to take grand kids! My kids range from 15-22 and they've been going since they were little. Those were the best days! We are going again in June and it's still fun with them being adults, but I hope one day I am blessed with grandchildren. I secretly want a grand daughter who will enjoy having tea with me at the Grand Floridian. (If my sons only knew what I was day dreaming about...)

The best day I ever had at Disney World was when I was like, 10 years old or something... I was playing "Where's the Fire?" in Innoventions. When the game was over, they gave all that participated in the game one of those "dream passes" thing which basically was a plastic lanyard with tearable fastpass things on the side for all attractions with a fastpass! It was a great day.

March 17 this year when my sister, her daughter and I hit all four parks in one day. The rule was we had to ride/attraction or have a meal in each park. Had photos taken in each park And we were wearing matching shirts.
Second was with my husband celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary in 2016.

Many many years ago (late 70's).......The day would consist of MK from about 9am to 1pm.....then over to River Country for the afternoon/evening. We brought along a change of clothes and changed in the RC bathroom and straight over to dinner at Hoop Dee Doo, then back to the Poly where we stayed. When you're about 8, it doesn't get any better than that.

First trip as a family in 2011.

Daughter was 6 ,son 4. We went to MK for extra magic hours. It briefly rained and kept the crowds away ALL DAY. We went till 11 pm!

There were times like on splash mt were they didn’t even make us get off the ride. Next day everyone was exhausted but we had fun.

Cannot really peg a single best day. lots of amazing days. I will say, going for the first time after a 20+ year hiatus was incredible (2012). Took my kids (10&12) and it was.... 'magical'.

Alas, every time we have gone back since, the magic has been replaced more and more with huge swarming mobs of people. We went back 2 more times in rapid succession after the 2012 trip, but have finally started a new hiatus.

How does Mickey and Minnie know the sex of your baby?!? Did they do the ultrasound? Would't their fur get covered in gel?

we have it written in a card so we are hoping a cast member will tell them when we go to the character spot. we plan on buying a minnie/mickey teddy then whichever the sex is they give the appropriate teddy to our toddler

Our last trip in September of 2017. On the Saturday of our trip we were at MK and things just seemed to go smooth. We stopped in at Main Street bakery in the morning and they gave my daughters a free treat. Later at dinner at chef Mickeys it poured outside but only while we were eating, so we missed the rain. The parked closed at 11:00, but after the fire works everyone left and that left us 2 hours of an empty park. My 6 year old was so excited. We were able to run from ride to ride with now wait at any of them. My 4 year old got to meet all the princesses with no wait too.
