Best day to go to a water park?

Is there a better day than others to go to a water park? Right now the plan is for us to attend BB (or TL if open) on a Saturday, but I'm wondering if that is a bad idea. Our dining day isn't until May 6, so we have time to decide, but I want to have our park days somewhat settled by then so we can make book dining. I am not sure how much flexibility we will have to change any park reservations around the closer we get. TIA!

You don't need a reservation for a water park so wouldn't it depend on the weather? Miserable to plan a day and find it was raining so maybe play it by ear and go when the weather is suitable.

Yes, that's a bad idea, particularly now.

Go to Hollywood Studios or Magic Kingdom on Saturday. Those parks are busy every say so there's no avoiding the crowds, and Saturdays are busy everywhere. So kill two birds with one stone and do one of the parks that's going to be busy anyways, and enjoy Epcot or a water park midweek.

Plan on a day mid week, staying away from the weekend days. Check on the weather forecast when you get to WDW and see whats predicted for days with higher temps and less chance of rain storms. Use the beginning days of your trip to focus on getting through the parks and the attractions you want to do the most. Then end up the trip with days revisiting the parks.

Unless the weather is projected to be really bad - I'd say any weekday from morning thru mid day (from a crowd perspective). The afternoon storms can and will pop up out of nowhere and some can be rather strong.
