Are there any counter services places that you love to go to whilst on a trip or do you prefer to stick to the Parks or DTD for food?

I haven't found a single food court in any of the resorts to be as good as almost any average counter service in any of the parks, and certainly nowhere near the quality of food you will find at Downtown Disney -- though with a parkhopper, its easy to go wherever you want for a meal...The resort food court would be my last choice for any meal...inside the parks, the best counter service bar none is Sunshine Seasons at Epcot

We stayed at AoA for a week back in July, and I must say the food court was actually pretty awesome!
Create your own omelet, create your own pasta, Mongolian BBQ. On our last day (not a Park day) I had the Surf and Surf Burger for lunch...a crab cake with fried shrimp piled on top. Fantastic! :)

I have to agree that the AoA food court was the best we have tried. It had some tasty and unique offerings. I highly recommend the surf and surf burger and the honey almond gelato. I also think Mara at AKL was very good. They had some unique food, great soups, and zebra domes! Capatin Cooks at the Poly offers Tonga Toast and Dole Whips.

We stopped in to visit AoA this past September and the food court looked awesome. Healthy options, large selection and definitely not your typical resort counter service or even park counter service fare.

Well I am fixing to stay at the POLY for the first time and I heard their food court had dole whips! So I am going to try their food court, although I have to admit the only food courts I have ever eaten at are CSR and BC..and they aren't normal food courts like what I saw at POP and CBR. Personally I would stick to food at the parks with Epcot having best QS options I think, well probably best food options period but I found plenty to eat at MK and AK and HS too...

There's too many to mention..A few come to mind..At Downtown WPE & EOS. At the parks lots from CHH at MK. to SS at Epcot. At PORS the food court is really good ( create your own pasta is awesome ) and POFQ for the Beignets.;)

I really like Roaring Forks at WL (beef and stilton sandwich) and Mara at AKL (carved turkey sandwich), both had excellent choice of pastries and cakes.

I'm not sure what you mean. There are plenty of CS places in the parks and at DTD. My favorite CS places are in the parks and DTD. Earl of Sandwich is, IMO, the best of the bunch. Several of the WS countries have really good CS. Flame Tree at AK and Sunshine Seasons at Epcot are good, too.

If you mean hotel food courts, then...No way, Jose. There isn't a single one I'd go out of my way to visit. I only dine there if I'm staying there...or happen to be visiting. :)

As food courts go, POR has the best food and a very relaxing atmosphere for a food court.

I adore the Mara at AKL. Not even sure why. I just get a sandwich and chips. I think it's the place itself that I like so much. I'm a big AKL fan, though.

CBR's food court has iffy to crappy food...and you'll wait a long time for it. It is loud and busy...but I like it, lol. Bright colors and island music make the difference.

Other than that, there aren't any I actually look forward to visiting at all. Some are fine and some are less than fine, but they do nothing for me.

Was asking if there were any resort counter services that anyone likes to visit, was thinking about going to explore the resorts and was wondering if there were any stand outs :)

Wolf Gang Puck is really good! I loved it! The resort I stayed in had normal food, nothing special. :/
