Best (clean) beach near DLR where I can stick my feet in the water?

Although, if I was the one driving, I would just continue driving a few miles south into Laguna Beach proper. There are so many nice little public beaches and small coves that are more picturesque than Huntington or Newport, without the surf rat scene.

I am not a fan of Laguna Beach for two reasons, Traffic and lack of parking.

Nearest Bench to the DLR would be at the Anaheim Convention Center due to the re novel of benches at the DLR.....

But can you stick your feet in the water there?
