Looking for some help planning a breakfast reservation. We are planning on going down in October and want to make a reservation for breakfast. We have eaten at Cinderella's Castle once for breakfast but other than that we have always just grabbed something quick. My husband doesn't like buffets, and characters are not required. Any suggestions would be great!!

i love the grand cafe at the grand floridian. Its sit down and its rarely crowded and no characters. Ohana is character but sit down family style. Those are my top two in that regard. Whispering canyons is also really good :)

Kona, Kouzzina and Boma are all places I'd really like to try for breakfast. 1900 PF is my fave of the character breakfasts, and CRT is giving CP a good fight for 2nd now that their revamped breakfast menu turned out to be really tasty, but it would be nice to try a non-character meal...especially since those first 3 noted get a lot of positive reviews on here. :)

Animal Kingdom - Tusker House - Great selection of food. Picture with Donald before meal and then other characters that come to your table when you eat. If you get the early timeslot it's usually an hour before the park officially opens. Don't worry your resort will have busses early enough to get there. Plus by the time you are done eating the park is just opening and you can walk to the front of the line getting onto Kilimanjaro Safaris. Early enough that the animals are still active and not laying doen for their daily nap. (I'm looking at you Lions)

I have kids, so my choices will reflect that bias... Tusker House, 1900 Park Fare ( wife is a huge Mary Poppins fan,) and Chef Mickeys are family favorites. Whispering Canyon Cafe is my personal favorite and the rest of the family enjoys it as well. Unlimited breakfast meats is always a wonderful thing. Has me thinking about bacon again... Been happening all week :)

If you are a Poppins fan 1900 Park Fare is the breakfast for you. Mary will be there!

Whispering Canyon in Wilderness Lodge is great...good skillet (all you can eat) and as of our last time we dined there in Sept, the menu items were delicious. It may not be the relaxing meal you crave but I think it is good!

Donalds Breakfast Safari @ Tusker House in AK. A differant variety of foods outside of the normal eggs, waffles and crap bacon, however it is a buffet with characters.

Boma breakfast is probably my favorite meal at WDW so far - it's a buffet, but the food is very good and lots of variety. Kona is probably my second favorite for breakfast.

It is a buffet but Boma is an excellent breakfast. Great variety, meat carving station, omelet station, and yummy caramel rolls.
