Best Breakfast Options

Ate at 1900 Park Fare this past May and probably experienced the best character interaction I've ever had, compared to other Character Breakfast options at Disney. Food was great, but also very similar to what you would get at Crystal Palace and Cape May Cafe. Each place has a couple unique options that you won't get at the other. Essentially, if character interaction is important to you and your wife, then I highly recommend 1900 Park Fare because you'll see Alice, Mad Hatter, Tigger, Evil Step Mother/Sisters, Cinderella, ect.

To clarify, for breakfast the lineup is Mary Poppins, Alice, The Mad Hatter, Tigger, and Pooh.

The fun thing about breakfast in the parks is that you can get in up to an hour before park open. You'll see the park with almost no one around, which is totally cool. Tusker House in the Animal Kingdom is a terrific and unusual breakfast buffet, with great character interaction, too!

This may sound silly, but the best breakfasts we've had were in our room. I brought the small box variety pack with us, and then got fresh milk at the resort store. We brought some paper bowls and spoons. Not having to deal with people and crowds was a treat for us. Plus, we saved a bunch of money on meals. We also brought snacks with us. Most snacks at the park were about $4-5 each.

I was going to say the same thing. Brilliant minds think alike. ;)

We are on vacation, so we like to have a nice leisurely breakfast, enjoying our morning cup of tea. This way we don't have to get up early to beat the crowd at the resort food court. However, on check out day, we usually eat breakfast at the resort restaurant - makes packing easier. We love going to Whispering Canyons - family platter with all you can eat waffles, BACON, scrambled eggs can't be beat. Plus they have excellent breakfast smoothies. Oh, and plenty of ketchup.

*Update* I just made ADR's for Kona and Boma. So as it stands, we have bfast reservations for Cape May, Ohana, Crystal Palace, Kona & Boma. Any other suggestions? Anything I should remove, add?

If you want a really good time, then add Whispering Canyons at Wilderness Lodge. The breakfast platter is great - all you can eat scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, waffles. If no one wants to end up with breakfast food coma, then try the individual Mickey waffle. Unlike most servings of that tasty treat, this is a huge waffle and comes with a candied pecan syrup, if I remember correctly. And freshly cooked.

Our favorite spot for breakfast is Whispering Canyon you can not go wrong with All You Can Drink Smoothies and the breakfast All You Can Eat skillet along with the waiter and waitress interactive entertainment. We also enjoy the buffet at Chef Mickey with the characters.
I was so excited when I saw "all you can drink" in your post but then I saw it followed by "smoothies", at which point I burst into inconsolable tears. Thanks a lot!

Tucker House and Ohana are must do breakfasts for us. Our son enjoys it too, even though he's "getting to old for the characters." :) We've had Kona Cafe too. It's one of our favorites!

We also do Chef Mickey's, but those I've already mentioned are our favorites.

We did Crystal Palace once. I know many people love it, but we absolutely did not care for it. The characters were only meh, and the food did not impress. I know all restaurants have off days (and we've had not so great experiences at some of our favorites before), but our time at Crystal Palace was so bad that I cannot convince my wife to try it again.

Hollywood & Vine was not as bad, but our son was not at all interested in the characters and we were not crazy about the service or food, so we won't be going back there either.

Tonga Toast from Captain Cooks at the Polynesian.

It's a must do for me and it's counter service, so you save a little $$.

Eat outside on the patio. Very nice!

We are all about the parks. So our favorite breakfast is Be Our Guest. WHY? Because we have managed to get 8 o'clock reservations, used a quick service credit and they opened the rides 15 minutes before rope drop, both times we had the reservation. The food is OK but for a quick service credit and riding 7 dwarfs and Peter Pan before the crowd gets there makes it worth it.
Is the Beast there for breakfast?

Kona breakfast is pretty much a must do every trip. A lot of love is given to the Tonga Toast, but I prefer the Samoan. When you mix everything together, just amazing. The French press coffee is really, really good.
