Best Breakfast Bonanza

Hey Guys,

Breakfast Question:

I've seen pictures of giant plates of breakfast foods and we want to go someplace really delicious for breakfast one morning. We'll have a car and can drive so we can go wherever is most highly recommended. Character dining isn't all that important to us.

We were looking at The Canyon Skillet, or breakfast at the Polynesian, Grand Floridian, or somewhere else???

We're staying at AKL and have ADR's for dinners at Jiko and Boma so we'd like to travel for a big breakfast one morning.

What do you think?

The breakfast skillet at the Whispering canyon Cafe is the best!! We have it a few times every trip. :slurp:
Love breakfast at Chef Mickey's too.

You will have a hard time going wrong with Bomas, Kona Cafe for WCC for breakfast.

Kona Cafe has macadamia pineapple pancakes that are simply out of this world and available no where else on property. Kona cafe is also home to the 100% Kona coffee press post which is one of the best tasting coffees in the world. If you are at all a fan of good coffee you owe it to yourself to make a trip to Kona Cafe.

Boma for breakfast is a very unique experience. The have all the typical breakfast stuff as well as some unique African inspired dishes.

There is nothing super special about the food at WCC. Dont get me wrong, the food is great and there will be plenty of it but WCC is all about the experience. The cast at WCC is simply amazing. If your face does not hurt from smiling after breakfast there check yourself straight into a cemetery because you are dead inside. If you go for breakfast ask for MT to be your server and you will not be disappointed. Also do not go to WCC if you are in a hurry. Breakfast can easily take an hour.

Absolutely agree! Finally, someone who truly understands the splendor that is the pineapple macadamia pancakes! :slurp: Much better than the good (but overrated) Tonga Toast. And I also agree that Boma is the best breakfast buffet, though I haven't tried Tusker House yet.

Thank you everyone!!! I just got my ADR's at Kona Cafe. I must admit that the coffee thing really made the decision a lot easier. That and the notorious Tonga Toast! Can't wait.
