Best and Worst Ride Stoppage

IASW is the absolute worst to get stuck on! Because thy don't stop that damn song!!!
So what your saying is that it's like being kicked in the teeth when youv'e been knocked to the floor? They should at least turn the volume down. The characters moving in complete silence could be just as bad in a nightmarish kind of way.

Best was in the middle of the dinner and dancing part of the Haunted Mansion. :D

Worst was in the hieroglyphics room on TGMR. That music can drive you nearly mad in 20 minutes. A bunch of us were getting ready to just leave. They should really cut soundtracks on those things when stopped for extended periods. Now I get why the military will use sound as torture.
Is that why Canada sent Justin Bieber to the US also? What did we ever do to them?

Not a Disney Park, but worst stoppage for me was at IOA on Jurassic River Adventure. The boat stopped right at the T-rex before it should have gone into the drop. The boat stopped & the T-Rex kept moving & making noise for about 2 minutes, then the sound stop & someone came over the load speaker & said to remain seated the ride would resume momentarily. Finally after about 5 minutes, the motion on the T-Rex stopped & a kid in the boat behind us got totally freaked out & wanted off. Some IOA cast members were on the platform next to us & tried to calm the kid down, but it didn't work. After being stuck for 20 minutes, we were told we were going to be evacuated. They started with the boats behind us & had to pull folks off row by row. Once they got everyone off the boats in the section we were in, we walked down 5-6 flights of stairs & out a back door. We got a express pass for a single ride and were told we could ride the River Adventure immediately by-passing the line. Whole thing probably took 45 minutes. Needless to say after being stuck on that boat & walking down the stairs, I wasn't real interested in trying again.

Best stoppage was on HM watching the swinging wake. Was stuck there for a good 5 or 6 minutes & got to notice lots of details I'd missed in the past.

The best stoppage I seen, and I wish I was there was on the Great Movie Ride, they stopped at the Wizard of Oz and one of the Munchkins was stuck in a loop.... will not say any more but it was great.

They may have it on this board?
Think I seen it originally on youTube

Best- Peter Pan, right in the middle of the London scene. Even though it only lasted for about 5 minutes, it was just so pretty and relaxing...
Worst- On HM at the very end, right in front of little leota/ghost hostess. We were stuck there for a good 15-20 minutes with "hurry back, hurry baaack.." playing!

Without a doubt the best and only good stoppage i have ever had was on top of splash mountain during wishes. It was the perfect viewing spot for the fireworks and we still talk about it today and try to duplicate it but no luck doing that yet. However we will be there in 2 days and try it once again maybe better luck this time.

NO stoppage is good to me...I suppose one where you were able to see fireworks would be good, but other then that, no! Lol

I am the least patient person and I want things moving smoothly. It shows my love for Splash that I'm willing to put up with it riding it multiple times a say, even if it means being stuck on it one of the million and 1 times it breaks down in an afternoon! Haha

Well it all happened one dark and stormy night....and we were stuck In the haunted mansion in the graveyard, and if you've never noticed, there is a song playing that after you hear it over and over for 20 minutes it really gets on your nerves. OH WAIT, Maybe it wasn't the song but my grandma who was with me complaining the entire time we were stopped. THE HORROR!

We were stopped once int he graveyard at HM...granted it was right at the end but you can bet I was climbing and looking around as much as possible! That was a favorite.

The worst I could imagine would be Soarin...getting stuck 30 feet in the air with nothing to look at.

I've never been stopped on any ride, but if I could choose a ride to get stuck on it would be SSE.
Step 1 - visit local hardware store
Step 2 - buy set of metal bars
Step 3 - ride SSE
Step 4 - at scene of choice, throw bars at track in between vehicles

From my last trip in October...Maelstrom was cool...was stopped for a while right at the top where you're about to start going forward again into the North Sea. When you look behind you, you can look outside, and if the stop for the boat wasn't behind it you'd plunge straight down outside.

I like when you stop on SSE on the backwards descent. You just chill there laid back.

Worst stoppage was getting stopped on The Seas with Nemo and Friends, the first (and last) time I rode it. We got stopped in that EAC hallway with projected bubbles, which was incredibly disorienting, because you couldn't tell if the clams were moving or not. There was no "remain seated" audio and I'd never been on the ride before so we thought it was just a really, really long hallway for a while. Got stuck for about 15 minutes. The most motion sickness I've ever gotten on any ride, anywhere. We ended up giving away our Test Track fastpasses to a nice family from Alabama because we were too sick to go on it.
The same thing happened to my mom and I. We were getting sick and it was just terrible. That would be the worst stoppage I experienced. I've gotten stopped on so many rides it's not even funny.

TTA on the part where you pass through Space Mountain. We just got fully inside and it stopped. It is pitch dark in there. I guess I never noticed how dark while the ride was in motion since it doesn't last very long. After a few minutes the lights came on and the ride started up again in about 5 mins.

God, I never even thought about how awful that would be. Ugh, I feel bad for you guys (and I really hope at never happens to me!)

No "good" ride stoppages for us. I've gotten stuck on tons and tons of rides but never for so long that I've been evacuated. We came close on Splash once, I think.

We did get stuck on a monorail last time for a hundred years. They kept rebooting the system over and over and then finally the monorail left the station but it had to run at a diminished speed the entire trip between Epcot and the TTC. Ugh!

Oh heck no, it'd be naptime for me if we were stuck there! I always have to close my eyes at that part! Lol

My best stoppage would have to be at the ballroom scene of HM. I was able to look at everything in so much detail and it's one of my favourite scenes in any attractions.

I have two worst stoppages - can't decide which was more excruciating:

Stopped in the "hot room" on the old Test Track. It was during it's soft openings for CM's only and they wouldn;t walk us so we sat there for about 15 - 20 minutes. I was actually scared I might pass out.

The other was during the descent on SSE - nothing to look at and my neck and back ached after being stuck there for about 25 minutes. The seats are so uncomfortable to rest my head on but then my neck would hurt from trying to hold my head forward...it was awful.
