Benefits to Avoiding Extra Magic Hours?

It's true that if you are not going to be there at the start of the morning EMH, you will not get as much of a benefit. The parks will be crowded as the day progresses, largely with people who intended to be there at rope drop, but ambled in later. We also often follow the strategy of going early for EMH, then hopping to another park or WP for the crowded afternoon. If you are staying off property, avoid them.

I have found that EMH (PM - I've never attended AM) is pretty great at all parks except for DHS. Every time I've gone to DHS on an evening their hours were extended, the park is loaded up with people and the lines are way longer. I think I'd avoid that park's extra hours over any of the others

I guess on the flip side - What would you do if DHS has Sunday early morning extra magic hours and you want to come that evening? I would think the park would start to empty out mid afternoon and not be as busy that evening? Maybe not?

We love EMH's, if you find that the park is/will be packed throughout the day then just take advantage of the EMH and head to another park that has a lower capacity. It's amazing how much you can get done during EMH's.
We went in june and didn't use EMH but went to the parks that had them that day...I was actually surprised/happy to say the longest we waited the whole week was 30 min. And the parks really cleared out by evening. Coming from DL it was weird and almost felt like we had the park to ourselves.
