As for rides in the parks, clones rule their world. Why create when you can clone endlessly? Granted, Mission: Space is great, and I've heard good things about PhilharMagic. But aren't those the only two new rides to open in the past, what, 8 years? I'm not counting the Dumbo-clones, BTW, and I realize that TriceraTops Spin opened as well, but that's a ride-type that's been done to death at dozens of theme parks across America.
The Magic Kingdom, when built, was a clone of Disneyland. A decision made by the people who originally built this company. For every clone since then there has been at least one new attraction/restaurant/design that is different in all the parks around the world. The average WDW guest hasn't been to all the Disney parks around the world to even know that similar rides are in those other parks much less see it as a negative.
The clone argument is exclusive to those who spend far more time in Disney parks than the majority. If you're at the point that you're going to WDW, Disneyland, DLP, TDR so much that going on all these clones is driving you crazy then maybe you shouldn't frequent the parks as much. Too much of anything will ruin it.
