Beetlejuice show mp3?

Hi there,

I am looking for a mp3 file of the Beetlejuice, Rock 'n Roll graveyard revue. Does any of you guys have that for me? I need it so I can have a nice track underneath the video.

I have a complete video of the show somewhere, and I could extract an MP3 from that, but the quality is going to be nowhere near source quality. However, it will be in stereo (because my camera records in stereo) and the quality may be a little better than yours (who knows)

I might try to record something, but does anyone know if the actors actually sing, or is it lip synced?

In my opinion they really sing, and they're not lip syncing. And if they do some lip syncing, they do it pretty darn good.

They really sing it.

The back-ups will have a sweetener track assisting them, but all of them are really singing.

Unfortunately, it make take some time for me to get the audio online. But it's on my list of things to do in the near future.

One thought....Okay, so if the show is live, is it still based on a fixed schedule? For example, song A always starts after x minutes? If not, then my version of the audio won't line up with your video. Of course, you could always do some fancy editing to take care of that...

I think they indeed do have a fixed schedule, cause they have to keep within a certain amount of time due to other showtimes. And if not, I can edit it so that it will line up.
Thanks for taking the effort of making the mp3 for me. I will wait anxiously till the day it's ready.

I don't know exact details, but judging from how shows like that are run (all track and no live instruments), I can tell that the performers have no control on tempo, so the indivual songs will match. The dialouge (as small as it is), might a have a huge effect on the timing of the entire sequence though.
