I wonder if you'll be served chimay in it's intended chalice, or if will come in the glassware for whichever room you're sitting in?

"I'd like to have your finest goblet of chimay please."

I hope they serve it in the Chalice. I've been to bars where they served it in a pint glass, and that kinda es me off. I end up asking for a wineglass, since at least it's being served correctly.

Crush Dude!

Back from WDW!Counting down to DLP in November!
Chimay is the only good beer on there!

Kron is terrible, could have done without it!

Hoe is an average beer but blows bud or the like away, its not too bad for a first attempt

We need time for things to happen.
Generally I'm not a big fan of 'fruity' beers...and Hoegarden is the only one on the menu that I've tried.
Of the fruity Belgian ales I've tasted this one is the most palatable.

Yes, the ABV of all the Chimay ales are pretty high. 2 or 3 blues is equal to a 6 pack of Coors. Worth the money not just in flavor.

For flavor I prefer the Red, but the Blue seems to be the only one that's easy to get.

Thinking more about it... I'm surprised that Disney didn't opt to have the Delerium Beers for sale. The packaging seems almost perfect for Fantasyland.

I'm not a fan of Belgian beers, for the most part. I can normally make it through half of one before the flavor begins to become cloying. I prefer a lot more bitter in my beer than Belgian offerings tend to present. That being said, the latter two on the list are very good pairing brews, and I imagine they will go well with a couple of the dishes on the menu. It's an overall above average beer list, especially for a Disney restaurant. They put a decent amount of thought into it, and I certainly appreciate the effort.

Now, if they just get rid of that French swill, I think the list could go from good to awesome. I also like the idea a previous poster mentioned of introducing a seasonal offering that fits within the theme of the restaurant.

Pink dancing elephants? At a "French" restaurant? I'd be wondering where the absinthe was hiding if that showed up.

But the list is a good start. First two definitely seem like beer for the masses or gateway beers. Second half isn't too shabby, wish it was a buck or two less however.

Oh yeah. The prices are what we pay down here for them retail. And we have an 88% liquor import duty and air freight costs to content with. I'll guess that Disney's doing a 300-400% markup on their wholesale prices.

I'd take any of the Belgian brews on here over Bud/Coors anything. The words "French" and "beer" do not even belong in the same sentence.
