Beauty Salon Question

We are staying in the Contemporary the first week of December this year. It will be our first stay outside of Pop Century. The hubby swears I'm waaaay too much of a princess but here goes:

Does anyone have any experience with have manicures/pedicures at the salon in the hotel?

Is there anywhere on property that has indoor tanning booths??? (I'm waaay too impatient for laying out by a pool even on a day that I have nothing to do at home)

For the Unofficial Guide, we reviewed the top spas in Orlando earlier this year, including mani/pedi services. If you're staying at WDW, your best bet is Saratoga Springs' spa, not Grand Floridian. Outside of WDW, the Ritz Carlton is the best overall spa in Orlando. Second on the list was the Buena Vista Palace. If cost is important, I'd check there first. I'm not sure about tanning beds, but a quick call to the spa will certainly answer that question. (The Ritz almost certainly has them, it's the others I'm not sure of.)

i'm surious as to why not Grand Floridian. I'm going to be going with my DD. She has recently discovered getting her nails done. So I was thinking a little mani/pedi for mom and DD could be fun. We are going to be staying on property.

I think the spa at Saratoga Springs is bigger than the one at the Grand Floridian.
