With disney making a remake of the yellow submarine, what would you guys think of them making a yellow submarine ride. Or really any type of beatles ride.

The Robert Zemmeckis Yellow Submarine remake is a dead project.

Thank the gods!

However a dark ride based on the original animated film using the Peter Max style would be fun...not sure it fits in Epcot's World Showcase...but fun nonetheless.

really, well i would still love a ride by them in disney. Like you said maybe one based on the original. It could work for Hollywood studios.

A Philharmagic style show with Beatles tunes would be cool.

I think Philharmagic resonates because of the emotional connection people have with the songs that are played during it. I feel like a lot of people probably have that same kind of emotional resonance when hearing Beatles songs.

I forget who owns the Beatles catalog these days.

A sit-down ride: no way. Some sort of musical tribute: absolutely.

Epcot already has the British Invasion tribute (at U.K.) but i could endorse something else/somewhere else (if done properly).

That would be the Michael Jackson Estate...so the possibility of a Beatles ride/show coming to Disney would be less than zero.

I, also, hate the idea. The Beatles have as much to do with the Disney Parks as Pizza has in common with Chinese food. Please, no Beatles. :hurl:

beatles have as much to do with disney as aerosmith. And the beatles are like 100 times more popular and have far more recognizable songs. And also i guess you have never heard of Chinese pizza. (thats cause its not real):king:

Imagine, it could work. Not in the Magic Kingdom, unless it was Yellow Submarine, but it would be a heck of a dark ride, going through tableaus evocative of their songs "look, there's a pretty nurse selling poppies from a tray!".

It would be ironic since in a way, Disney World is where the Beatles ended.

John signed the papers that dissolved the Beatles while at Disney. See this article from the NY Times, about 2/3 of the way down. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/12/arts/music/12pang.html

Didn't Rolling Stones want to much to be a part of RnR? I'm pretty sure the Beatles(whoever owns the rights to their stuff now) would ask for Dr. Evil type absurd numbers
