Beastly Kingdom??????

Hi,

I went to wdw in crimbo 98 , and visited AK, I purchased from there a pen, which is shaped like a tree at the top, and says on Disneys Animal Kingdom, now i had never heard beaslty kingdom before, so i didnt really notice, but...

Today, i realised that Where it says "Animal Kingdom", below it shows some animals,


Bull (Or something like that) Elephant Dragon! Stegosaurus Deer

Forgive me if im wrong, but animal kingdom has nothing really to do with mystical creatures in! So why did it put a dragon in, and more importantly, why did they put it in the middle of the row of animals, AND the largest!?

They must have been at some point ( or maybe still are) planning a mystical creature land.

Yes, a few other people have noticed this off the new "100 years" Ak pin. Who knows maybe they are leaving the Dragon on there with a view to eventually putting BK in.

Dragon

I have a pin that I bought at animal kingdom the year it opened.. It has the dragon on it so its not something that all of the sudden poped up. I have been doing some homework on this and.... practilly everything I have found with animal kingodmo n it has that dragon on it. Maybe its just..something that they thought looked cool. If it was on the pin when it opened....they probably had no idea of beastly kingdom....so I doubt it has anything to do with beastly kingdom its probably just a part of their icon which they are planning on keeping during the 100 years celebration

I know there is NO CHANCE WHATSOEVER of this happening, but wouldnt it be great if one day Disney called a press conference, and announced that Beastly Kingdom had been secretly built!!

If you look at the concept art for Animal Kingdom, Beastly Kingdom was planned for the park at the very beginning but many things got in the way. Problems with the river raft ride delayed the opening of the Asia section till 1999. High costs kept delaying the opening of Beastly Kingdom, so at the last minute Eisner place Camp Minnie-Mickey at the entrance to wher Beastly Kingdom was supposed to be. Don't believe me, check out the Making of Disney's Animal Kingdom book.

I just got back from Walt Disney World yesterday... and i bought the makingo f the animal kingdom book and it is in there. So he isn't fibbing. It was so nice..wish i was still there
