Beastly Kingdom was going to open alongside the rest of Animal Kingdom but instead was cut with multiple reasons to why. This would have held the centerpiece attraction, Dragon Tower but that to was cut and Countdown to Extinction/Dinosaur was the only one to be built out of the two and that now has not held up to Pandora which now exists where this land was supposed to be. But I have a much bigger plan on what it should be and how I am going to resurrect the idea with the name of Beastly Kingdom: The Lost Kingdoms.
How to bring back Beastly Kingdom

Name: Beastly Kingdom: The Lost Kingdoms
Story/meaning: to use the creatures that belong to myth and legend and use these to create thrill rides and more overall rides for Animal Kingdom.
Where:
Above where the lagoon is with Asia, India and etc. surrounding it. It will take place north of the lagoon and will take up some of the land the train to Rafiki did but the arena will still exist with the train being there in a mythical styled station.

The lagoon will have a small river flow through a area with a huge wide path following it(there are two entrances to the Lost kingdoms). As guests follow they enter a dense forest and slowly start going into a old temple with engravings of Minotaurs and other Greek monsters. Then as you see to your left is the train to Rafiki which I have an idea to replace another time. After walking through the small temple ruins you find yourself next to another lagoon with more areas surrounding it. The areas are Greece/Rome with a coliseum and temples, Egypt with
Pyramids and the Nile, a Dark ages style village with a giant burning Castle, a majestic and magical looking garden and a giant Iceberg with something with glowing eyes in it.

Greece/Rome
The area is split up with statues of Minotaurs, the three-headed dog and a centaur. There is a sit down restaurant right outside of the colosseum with Greece styled food with things like Minotaur meat. Then there is a Roman gift shop with Spears and shields (obviously fake because we don’t want dueling outside of the stadium) but they cannot be in use. Then there are Roman togas and plushies of Roman and Greek creatures. Then there is the main ride, The Minotaur, a simulator that feels like a Coaster where a village is attacked by the Minotaur and you are escaping on a chariot given to you by Zeus and the ride system combines flight simulator and a coaster to use Coaster parts to simulate better motion and will consist inside the coliseum (hidden from view as the coliseum cannot be entered by guests unless riding the ride) the ride system is like Transformers aka Indiana Jones with more turning and spinning with more screens and visual effects. A lot of the Greece/Rome section will have a lot of small temples to walk through

Egypt
After walking past Greece you see the Nile flow past you as the ride boat floats past you. You walk into Egypt which has a separate walk through path separated from the main path with Egyptian statues of gods and beasts. There will be a few food stand in a small pyramid tomb that has a simple walkway to the outside then there is the main ride. Journey of the Nile will be a boat ride with Egyptian styles boats which will be able to hold a few less then Pirates. The entrance would be at the big pyramid with the Nile entering the pyramid next to it with boats floating through it. The queue tells the story of the Nile and has wall drawings of many beasts as soon they enter their boats after seeing the pre-show in the tomb where a mummy comes to life and warns the guests of the dangers of going down the Nile as it will flood because a evil pharaoh has reawaken. The guests ignore as they enter their boats and journey through the Nile. They go up a big lift hill to get them above ground level as the queue goes downward. Then they take a small drop into the Nile and journey across it as they enter another drop into the small pyramid that holds the food stand as a booby trap gets set off and the floor breaks and the guests go down another drop that goes immediately into another lift hill and go up to ground level and enter the back area of the land where many temples are which is the main part of the tour but it is cut short as one of the statues eyes start glowing and the guests get stuck in a tomb where at the top of the tall room the mummy awakens and says a curse as he disappears and the water starts rising as the boat is carried up by the water and is thrown out of the giant drop into more temple ruins. This works by a few boats go into the floaty elevator and a holding section is before the scene so boats can wait to enter the tomb. Then another show scene shows that the pharaoh was actually an evil Egyptian creature with blood red skin and tentacles and was the creature of the Nile. Then guests go down another drop as they go up and down more drops and take turns to escape the creature but then suddenly come back out of the temples as it turns out the creature is cursed to stay in the temple and if the guests did not take the turn that they did they would be stuck. The creature stares at them as they enter back into the pyramid as he waits for its next prey.
This was a stranger ride to think about but I like the idea of a pharaoh actually being a creature that cursed the Nile and is bound to his temple. The elevator will reuse the water every time as it filters it for safety and the boats will be designed to be able to do this. Plus the room sprays itself down and is made of a certain material so it can’t get water damage.

The Dragon Lair
A village from the time of kings sits damaged and under the rule of a dragon who lives in the castle and the village will feature the dragon grill with a statue of the dragon out front with glowing red eyes and dragon meat is served as a meal and it will be a normal eating place, not a reserve only. Plus knights walk around and are a meet and greet character. Their will be multiple show building like a Blacksmith which banging noises come from there and the same is said for so many building so the town feels alive as they do mention the dragon in the castle. The knights who walk around talk on embarking quests to the castle to challenge it but can’t. If the guests journey up to the castle they find the entrance has a stone hedge like area where the queue starts. At the top of the castle fire is blown from the top every now and then. As guests walk through the line for the main attraction they find many relics and pieces of knight armor damaged from previous knights. A pre show room talks about the history of the dragon and how it invaded the castle then a knight comes onto the stage and is voiced through a computer from a cast member so he could interact with the audience (yes it is a animatronic) he begs for help from the guests to help him escape the castle and steal the dragons treasure and the guests agree and after waiting a while longer the guests enter their vehicle. The ride is a steel swinging coaster which the original was supposed to as well. The carts have knight armor on them and have a different headpiece and weapon. The cars will be designed to be able to turn to look at something when needed to. Guests go up a lift hill to the top and fly through the castle as the dragon tries to attack and they even swing through the lair a few times before getting up and close and seeing the giant dragon animatronic alongside the knight trying to fight it. In the end guests encounter a show scene where they circle the dragon and the knight in a final battle where the dragon dies and falls down a fire pit and the knight thanks them for helping him and defeating the dragon. A lot of the show scenes will stop the carts as the dragon and knight clash then the guests are sent again by a launch. The final scene uses the best animatronics and effects for realism and the turning carts. Then there is the dragon vault as a gift shop where merchandise can be bought.

Magical Gardens
This is a kiddie area with the Fantasia gardens dinner and boat ride for the kids and the Unicorn Quest Omnimover ride where guests journey through a maze and look for the unicorn and get to see an impressive animatronic and stunning plants and waterfalls and a little pond surrounding it. This is meant for kids so scream about story. The Fantasia Gardens Boat ride goes through the gardens and talking about the magical plants and unicorn.

The Slumbering One
The Iceberg is home to the flying coaster and will be in the middle of the lagoon. It will only have the ride, Call if the Cthulhu. Since the rights to this thing is non existent and he is a famous mythical creature in recently made Mythos. The flying coaster will have large chain lifts with big high speed drops and turns and a few inversions going thorough the iceberg with a giant Cthulhu animatronic of the Cthulhu who slowly awakens and attacks the guests. This will be the thrill ride of the park with this coaster. It will be extremely long with lots of drops. It will be Disney’s most thrill inducing coaster. Not my favorite idea but it could work if executed properly.

Any thoughts, don’t kill me in the comments and be nice please

Any thoughts, I would like to hear them:

Sign me up now.. Great thought process. Maybe too many coasters but the atmosphere sounds amazing. I envisioned a different concept.
I've been thinking about what the next big expansion could be to DAK and am really liking the idea of a multi branded land. For example, think Tokyo Disney Sea and how they announced the Fantasy expansion of Frozen, Peter Pan and Tangled. My idea would be:

1) To create a land with the centerpiece being the iconic Pride Rock from the Lion King. The E-ticket attraction, would be a Lion King dark ride using the upcoming ride technology being developed for Tokyo Beauty and the Beast. I mean come on, DAK has to have a signature Lion King Attraction. Also, Using the new Pride Rock backdrop add a waterfall that flows into a newly created waterway. More on this below.
2) I would also propose that the Festival of the Lion King show be moved to the base of Pride Rock and replaced with another show. Perhaps Moana
3) Continuing with the new land, I would blend the Serengeti look/feel into that of a Rain-forest on the other side of the Expansion pad and finally add the rumored many times, Tarzan Hanging Coaster. This lands 2nd E-ticket would add be a thrilling roller coaster along the tree tops.
4) Continuing with the Rain-Forest area, I would also propose bringing the Shanghai Ropes course to this area adding another family attraction.
5) Develop a river/water area throughout the land that weaves in and around the rain forest then through the base of pride rock and under the waterfall mentioned above.. Using this new waterway, re imagine a new live action style Jungle Book boat ride attraction. Inside the pride rock area, could add some screens and technology to add a little intensity there. Would have be very careful with the transition theming as mentioned above, Serengeti/Rain-forest blending.
6) Lastly, using the waterfall and pride rock as background, create a nightly projection and light show celebrating the characters of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

In summary, the new expansion would have 2 E-Ticket attractions (Tarzan Hanging Coaster and a Lion King Dark Ride), 1 Family Boat Ride (Jungle Book) and 1 Family Ropes course high atop the rain forest canopy. The land would also have a new Festival of the Lion King show, a nigh time projection show, and of course restaurants and merch shops. I think this would be an absolute money maker for the park and one that would have myself in line right now buying my family tickets! I think this option is much better than that of a Zootopia experience.

This was fun, Thoughts?

Zootopia has been discussed and I could see it happening but I would wait to see if they make a sequel as that a sequel would show if it still has profit. The ropes course is a fun idea as there should be a play area. The Lion King is looking to be a success and they could be working on a trackless dark ride which could disguise the vehicles as safari vehicles. A Tarzan Coaster was planned for AK and could have been a swinging coaster. I like this idea and it does have a possibility. I put thrill rides in the Beastly Kingdom as it would be hard to make some when it is about eduction for the animals that is why we don’t have many thrill rides but more thrill rides are needed and it would be easy as the roller coasters/thrill rides are featuring the scary creatures (Cthulhu, Dragons and Minotaur)

Also where the train area is to Rafiki is expansion space that can be used and one day will be and the train will be gone and maybe Rafiki will be replaced withPride rock
