Beaches and Cream

Hi All.

I was looking at the restaurants again. What are everyone's thoughts on this place?

Do your need reservations for this place? I thought the menu looked right up mine and DS's alley. (we're the picky eaters)

Thanks

They don't take reservations. But, if you go at 8pm on a Friday or Saturday night (or even on a night during a holiday, or some other peak time) be prepared to wait about 30 minutes for a table. But, the food is TOTALLY worth it. The burgers are to die for and the desserts are HUGE :o)

Sounds great. We would never eat that late with a 3 yr old. We would probably try maybe 4pm. We are going Dec 8th - Dec 14th.

Do you think we will have much of a wait around that time?

THanks

That would probably be perfect. But, I can't predict the wait time. It's Disney though, you gotta wait sometimes ;) Have a great time!

BnC is an ok place to eat a mel at.
There are better optioins though.

There are better what?
Oh, Options.

Well, Beaches N' Cream is known for having the best burgers on Disney grounds, so i'd honestly suggest there over anywhere else. Everywhere else you go to get a burger is usually quick service. BnC is the place to be (I really didn't mean for that to rhyme...)

Oh, I forgot the OP mentioned that burgers were a priority.
The point I was making is unless you are going there for ice cream, there are a ton of better places to get a quick bite. Just my opinion.

By the way, have you ever tried a burger from Big River?

Yeah, but maybe they don't want "A quick bite" where you can get the same burger anywhere on Disney grounds.

And no, I have not. But, I prefer Beaches N' Cream, that's why :-D

My wife and I go to Beaches and Cream a lot and have never had to wait.
That being said, it's because we go during the "off" hours to eat.
Try going there at 11:00 AM or 1:30 to 3:00 in the afternoon.
If you don't mind sitting at the counter you can almost always get a seat there.
Hope this helps.

Thanks Scooter..

DS(3) would probably get a kick out of sitting at the counter.

Man, you really love that burger there, huh?

Next time you are in the area, try Big River, you may like it!

Oki dokie! I definitely will, i'm a huge burger fan :o)

Kind of off topic but if you are ever near Detroit, MI (Who knows, maybe you will be!), keep this place in mind "Famous Hamburger" in Dearborn, Mi (about 20 min from Detroit). The BEST burgers you will ever have! No contest.

I don't know about the burgers but, the Kitchen Sink is awesome!! Oh and you need about five or six people to even make a dent. I went and got it with five friends when I was on CP and we couldn't get past the first level.

I've had Big River's burger (very good), but tend not to go there much because it's not on the DDE. Beaches and Cream has great food, though - in addition to the burgers, they have great onion rings, too :slurp:

I visit relatives in Dearborn every week or so, and I've never seen that restaurant. Strange.

Besides, Culver's has the best burgers... :lookaroun

Hey Dan, long time no talk!
The restaurant is on Ford & Schaefer, it's a block down Schafer though and that's why you may not have seen it. Check it out!
