Beach or Lagoon?

Quick question...

Typhoon Lagoon or Blizzard Beach? Each time I visit BB is always closed so I've never been...however I love TP! Trouble is I'm coming in Oct-Nov so BB is normally closed for refurb so my decision may have been taken out of my hands...

Anyway, I put it to the people...

Give Blizzard Beach a try. The slides are better (in my opinion) and it never hurt to try something new. You won't be dissapointed and if you don't like it as much you can always go back to Typhoon Lagoon next time.

imo typhoon lagoon is a little more laid back, where blizzard beach is more fast paced, so if you are going to the water parks to relax, tp, but if you wanna go and be on the go, bb is your best bet, either way, enjoy :wave:

I love both - (no help there sorry) but seriously they are both incredible parks with lots to offer... I love the atmosphere of both - It's super fun taking the ski lift to the top of the mountain to ride the slides (at BB) - but it's fun swimming with the sharks too (at TL)... If I had to pick, I'd prob say BB just b/c it's seems a little more "disney" to me...

We tend to visit during the hot summer months so both parks are open and we visit both parks. You can't beat the wave pool at TL but if you are a slide person, BB has more to offer. The new water coasters at TL are great, the only complaint is that they are too short. (that's not really a complaint, just a whine on my part, we love them and wish they were longer) If I had to choose only 1 park to go to it would have to be BB though. The family tube ride is a winner hands down. (My brother, 42, would pick TL since he could spend all day in the wave pool.)

I've got such great memories of Typhoon Lagoon (apart from 2001's visit where I burnt my back in the sun and had to spend 3 days alone in my hotel room) but it seems BB is the new place to be.

I only ask as I'm bringing my sceptical girlfriend for the very first time and I believe she'll really enjoy the relaxed, Caribbean atmosphere of TP. I think she would prefer that to BB but what do I know? I'm just a guy!! lol

Well, the genral vibe is that 1 of the 2 will be closed. I guess I'll just have to wait and see...only 257 days to go!!!!
