I want to know all about this resort. I am really considering splurging and staying there this September. We have only previously stayed at value resorts before. I was booked at Coronado Springs but just can't get happy about staying there. So all you Beach Club experts can you help me out? What is good/bad? Best room location? Thank you:)

I booked in September and I'm so excited. I've never stayed there before but I've walked through the area when I stayed at the dolphin last year and it looks amazing. The pool area has the highest slide out of all the disney resorts, a sand bottom pool, and even a little slide for the kiddies. At night there's an area with a firepit you can make smore's, they have a movie each night weather permitting. The boardwalk is right there (with street entertainment and dining options). I think the best part of the BC is the walk to Epcot. It's so close and it's wonderful in the morning walking into the resort no buses or fuss! And everywhere I've read has been great reviews of the rooms. The only complaint I've read about is the club level not being as good as it used to be and not being worth the extra money...but to each their own...you know how that goes on these forums...lol! I say book it!!!

For what it's worth if you decide to stay at CS, it's a nice resort too. My daughter really liked the pool, the beds are queen, and the rooms are nice. The only thing we hated was we seemed to get the farthest room you could from the lobby area and it was a hike for a mug refill!

We stay at the BCV but some fun things:

1. Stormalong bay the pool is awesome. My kids and myself included love the pool the slide is great.
2. Beaches and Cream ice cream shop is really a fun place. Try the Kitchen Sick, though take your appetite.
3. Cape May Cafe for buffet is also a nice place to eat, as well as the Yatchman Steakhouse.
4. Convenience to Epcot (just a walk away) and also the boat ride to DHS.

As for rooms it's tough as we have only stayed at the Villas. But it depends on what you want. If you want quiet then ask for a room overlooking the quite pool in the back. If you don't mind the noise and want to see whats going on do the side that looks over the lake (can't remember the name) there.

Have fun.

This is tied as my favorite resort on Property (with Polynesian). The resort is fantastic and there really is nothing that can be said against it. I would say that the only small issue I find is the lack of quick service food options. The marketplace is ok, but it is very small for the size of the resort and gets extremely crowded in the mornings with everyone grabbing food and drink as they get ready to leave. While it is a hike from the lobby and elevators, I like a location closest to Epcot. I spend a lot of time in that park, so if you get a room on the outskirts towards the park you have no more than a 5 minute walk to the international gateway. If you can afford the price difference between Coronado and Beach Club (I know it is fairly big), then I definitely say you should spring for it.

Its definately worth the splurge. Plan a day just to stay at the resort and enjoy SAB. Skip the club level, you can stock your in-room fridge with the same offerings cheaper.Requst a room close to the elevators, some rooms are a LONG walk from the lobby.

Great Resort. But be aware that because there is a character breakfast off the lobby, the lobby is typically filled with screaming children, unruly kids, and toys thrown all over the floor like at a doctors waiting room. Because of this, we stay at Yacht Club which is much more quiet than its sister Resort. Still a nice place, but the crowded loud lobby spoils the mood of the resort for us,
