Beach Club

Hi~
Our family is staying in the Beach Club from July 11-19 and I was just wondering if anyone has stayed there and if you have any advice. Also, we have a standard room, but I know that you can request the location when you check in. Does anyone have a preference there? I know that the pool is one of the great features with this resort, but anything else would be appreciated. Thanks!

I just noticed you were going to be staying at the Beach Club the exact dates we were! We have never stayed there before, but we have stayed across the way at the Boardwalk several times. And I noticed in your profile that you might be interested in interning at WDW and I interned there the summer of 2001 and loved it! I would do it again in a second! Hope you have a nice trip in 15 days! Maybe we will see you by the pool!

Beach Club is great. We love the short walk to Epcot and being so close to Boardwalk and MGM too. There are many good places to eat at boardwalk (we like the big river brewery) We also like dancing at Atlanic Dance instead of PI.

Beaches and cream is a great place to eat. We make sure we stop there every trip, even if we don't stay at Y&B. Infact just this past May we ate lunch there, but we weren't even doing WDW at all, we were on our way to Vero Beach from the Airport and just had to stop in. The breakfest at Cape May Cafe is good too.

The blacony's at Beach club can be rather small (some are only enough room for one person to stand.) Some are full size. When we stayed at YC in 2001 they upgraded us to a waterview room, it was great. Now that we are DVC members we love the new BCV.

Oh, and the pool just can't be beat, hands down the best on WDW property. That should be a busy time of year for the pool, so go early, or even later at night. It is a ton of fun. We are hoping to stay there our next trip, March 2005

That's awesome that you will be staying in the same hotel and with the same dates. Yes, I am very interested in the Disney internship. We are thinking about looking at the facility while we are down there. Any suggestions? What was your "job?" Thanks for your input!
