Beach Club tips

Hey gang! I just booked a trip for mid-July to visit our favorite place and got a room at the Beach Club. Although I've been to WDW many times and have visited that resort, I've never actually stayed there. If anyone has any tips or advice....secret spots they'd like to share....which restaurants are good, I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!

I looove the Beach club... Great food at Beaches (i think it is).. they have this giant ice cream thing its like 14 scoops and if you finish it alone you get it for free.. its like 24 bucks if you dont though lol. But the ice cream is great. The pool is awesome! And the rooms are really nice. It's very similar to boardwalk in the rooms. I had an absolute blast there!!

Beach Club best rate

I booked a rate for 209/night (w/o tax) at the Beach Club as a Florida Resident and was told that this is the best rate going. The $129 rates are at the Animal Kingdom Lodge only. Hope this helps...

I know at the YC it was a little difficult getting your mug refilled. You had to bring it to one of the nice restants and they wouldn't touch it, just bring you a paper cup with pop in it.

Beaches and Cream is the best (I love that place, eat there every year, even when we don't stay there, always have the same waitress, Darelne.) The ice cream is the Kichten Sink. Even served in a not so little sink. They have the best burgers in the world and if you split a shake they bring you two really for the price of one, it is great!

The balonies at Beach club can be small, if you have a water view room be sure to ask for a full balcony.

All the other restrants are good, but can be pricey, just go acording to what you want to spend. Take advantage of Epoct and the BW being so close as far as food goes and take time to use that pool! (SAB is closed at night, but the others are open, there are 5 hot tubs all together there.)

Oh, go dancing one night at Atlanic Dance. I think they have swing dance lessons on Thrusday nights and it is ladies nights then, so women are free (5 dollars for men) That is a blast!

Have a great trip!

My one and only advice: Visit the pool. When you arrive from the parks very very tired and need to relax, just grab a towel and go that magnificient pool called Stormalong Bay. Nothing compares.
