Beach Club reopening?

My two cents that I just posted in the AKL Jambo thread: I'm hoping that a few weeks after Labor Day weekend, when the numbers come in from that period (overlaid with school openings - which are 2 huge milestones for us to track), if we can be smart and make it through that with continuing positive news I think Disney will start to open up more as travel restrictions ease and travel confidence is restored a little more - certainly in time for the Holidays.

Now if it's "good news" I don't expect the return to normal - but I hope an increase in capacity and more TS locations (ie Sanaa, Ohana), and the TTC to EPCOT monorail by the end of the year.

In theory, we should have vaccine news with possibly many receiving injections, more advanced therapeutics readily available, and more hope on immunity if you have contracted it.
You’re more optimistic than I...

But not impossible. One thing I differ on is there is not gonna be a widespread vaccine distribution in that timeframe...

That’s pure politics crossed with business pressure at this point.

The logical expectation is nothing is gonna happen to alter Disney’s demand for the remainder of this year at an absolute minimum.

Rainbows and gum drops my friend!
I agree on your logical expectation BUTTT lets say "group 1" can get vaccinated by EOY (Healthcare workers, at risk), therapeutics continue to evolve, social distancing and masks are more accepted - who is to say the infection rate and hospitalizations won't drop significantly. I know...who knows. But it's not that ridiculous. It would behoove Disney to open up the cash side of the resorts and full amenities (sure with rules and restrictions if need be) asap, that's what will get people to come back.

The problem is the infrastructure for distribution isn’t in place. As many respectable public health experts (those with experience) have warned since the spring before there were any trials.

We just have to accept - not that we want to - that everything said right now is tinged. The comparison (not literally) to how much semantics is taking over now is the Reichstag Fire.

Trust your eyes and instincts...and nothing else. It’s all gonna be worked out someway soon.

Totally agree. That makes it hard to know the truth. Each company has said they've been producing these things waiting for the green land to send around - in this way, if data is strong enough in October, shipments and vaccinations can begin shortly thereafter. I guess it's who you read, what you want to believe.
