Beach club evacuated 11/11

We were out by the pool at the Beach Club all afternoon and had no idea anything was going on. We heard sirens but didn't think too much about it. When we went back to our room around 3, there was no sign that anything out of the ordinary had happened.

Wow, if it had of been a fire you might have been in trouble being in the pool and all that.

Shouldn't they evacuate the pool for a fire drill?

Completely confirmed. Fired from 7dMT spread to Beach Club... This sneaky little fire really caught everyone by surprise!

Be sure to complain that your entire vacation was ruined and you deserve a refund or at the least... fast passes.

Just a quick mention, when we signed up for our DVC membership. You have the option to get $50 Disney credit or fast passes for the family. I wanted the money, the CM was shocked! MOST people go for the fast passes, which to me is astonishing how much people value those things. Just funny you mention fastpass as a cure because i think it is for so many....yet in reality...so little value , IMO.
