We have a whole thread on this somewhere...

Anyway, I think it's a nice menu. If you can get over the nomenclature, you'll find it a very simple and pleasing menu

This restaurant was specifically designed because people for decades have been asking for something in the MK that isn't hotdog/burger/chicken sandwich based...its not designed for those who want the typical counter service or sit down fare in the MK...sorry to be so blunt, but if the menu doesn't look good to you, don't dine there...Its another option to keep people who don't want Burgers to stay in the park and not go elsewhere for lunch or dinner....

Looks all right to me. I'll be ordering the french onion soup, then move on to the thyme scented pork rack chop with au gratin pasta, finishing up with the passion fruit creme puff. Choice of beverage, the all natural fruit punch served in a castle themed souvenir goblet. After which I will head back out for lots more fun.

Ya know, it's kind of funny thinking about my silly BoG dilemma and rereading OP's comments. Obviously, not every restaurant menu is going to appeal to every guest, but I just find it so funny that one person is so turned off by the menu while I'm wondering if I should try to get in there for lunch as well as go for my dinner ADR. I have this insane fear, even with vastly different menus, that I might get a 'been there, done that' feeling if I try QS lunch before our dinner ADR. Like I said- insane...but it just kind of cracks me up how different the reactions are to the same menu offerings.

I couldn't help but laugh at that. Did I miss something? Are they just selling fake food for fake people? I have seen so many people complain about this since the release of the menu. I'm still a bit surprised that so many people just eat burgers and chicken nuggets.

we laughed when we went to tusker and saw adults eating from the toddler buffet... Even some adults eat chicken nuggets and macaroni and cheese. Meanwhile my kid was eating from the adult side. Everyone is different, which is why we have many choices!

Agreed, Disney has tons of choices for many different people. Thats why I don't understand the frustration with the Be Our Guest menu. If they don't like the food there are tons of options in the park.

You forgot donuts and hotdogs :). All in GREAT quantities :). Funny, I'm old enough to remember this:

"The President's Council on Youth Fitness was founded on July 16, 1956, to encourage American children to be healthy and active children, after a study indicating that American youths were less physically fit than European children, by then President Dwight D. Eisenhower"
(and expanded by Kennedy.... WHAT HAPPENED?).
and now, kids are complaining that they are starving at school lunches, even though they are allowed unlimited trips to the fruit and vegetable bar...

I did forget hot dogs and donuts. Then they can just throw in fair food, corn dogs, deep fried twinkies, deep fried everything. Then you have to add PB and J, though not unhealthy there actually are people that only eat PB and J
